Lauren excelled academically and athletically. She was a member of the National Honor Society, served as class president and secretary, and played varsity soccer for four years, even serving as co-captain. In her community, Lauren actively participated in the Girl Scouts of America, holding positions on the CEO Advisory Board and as a Council Delegate for the Sandy Hook Region.
She had achieved the Bronze and Silver Awards and was working towards completing the prestigious Gold Award. Lauren also dedicated her time to U.S. Representative Frank Pallone Jr's Youth Advisory Council, contributing to policy agendas on immigration and homelessness, and volunteered with the Raine Foundation.
