The Lol Client Is Not Loading issue might occur for various reasons, like server issues with LOL, installation issues, internet connection issues, and other problems. You may use the below methods to fix the Lol Client Is Not Loading issue. 

1) Run the Game from Installation Directory

In some cases, running the game from the installation directory would solve the "LOL Client Is Not Loading" issue. You may follow the below steps to run the game from the installation directory.

  • In File Explorer, visit the C:Riot GamesLeague of Legends.
  • There, double-click LeagueClient.exe and check if LOL can open. You can right-click the.exe file and choose "Run as Administrator."
  • If the game can run without any problems, it indicates that the shortcut is corrupted and preventing the League from opening/launching. 

2) Disable All Running League of Legends Processes

In some cases, to fix the Lol Client Is Not Loading problem, you can disable all the running LOL processes from Task Manager.

  • Initially, open Task Manager in Windows 10.
  • Visit the Processes tab, select League of Legends (32-bit), and tap End task.
  • Now, restart LOL and see if it opens. 

3) Change user.cfg And Delete LeagueClient.exe

To solve the issue, you can make some changes in the League of Legends client.

  • Initially, visit C:Riot GamesLeague of Legends and go to RADSsystem.
  • There, right-click the user.cfg file and use Notepad to open it.
  • Next, change leagueClientOptIn=yes to leagueClientOptIn=no and save that file.
  • Now, open this game again and go to the directory folder to erase or delete the LeagueClient.exe file.
  • Make, a double-click launcher.exe to run LOL in the install directory. If it does not start, run launcher.admin.exe.

4) Force the Game to Update Itself

In some cases, to solve the LoL Client Is Not Loading issue, you can simply update the game. For that, as there is no direct option for the update, you must delete or erase some files from the installation folder to force it to update itself.

  • First, visit the installation directory and then navigate to RADS > Projects.
  • Delete or erase these two folders – league_client and lol_game_client.
  • Navigate to the solutions folder, and delete league_client_sin and lol_game_client.sin.
  • Now, restart the PC, start LOL again, and it will force the game to update automatically.

5) Repair the Installation

When League of Legends won’t open, it may be An issue with the game installation or the installation files corruption, which might have caused the Lol Client Is Not Loading issue in some cases. To solve this problem, you can attempt to repair the installation.

  • First, right-click the LOL client on the desktop and run as administrator.
  • When the launcher opens or unlocks, tap the cogwheel icon, and then click Initiate Full Repair.
  • This might consume time to repair the installation. After that, restart the game again.
