LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 Wiki

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is an action-adventure video game with a Lego-themed aesthetic. Developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, it was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on November 14, 2017, and later for macOS on August 2, 2018, by Feral Interactive. Serving as the sequel to 2013's Lego Marvel Super Heroes and the third entry in the Lego Marvel franchise, the game retains the core gameplay mechanics of previous Lego titles.

However, it also introduces new features such as the ability to manipulate time and a four-player competitive Super Hero battle mode. The game's storyline revolves around Marvel superheroes hailing from various eras and realities as they unite to battle the time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror across space and time. As the 2016-17 video game voice actor strike was underway during its production, the cast members from the previous game, as well as Lego Marvel's Avengers, could not reprise their roles.

This was because they were associated with the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). The development team opted for a new voice cast, with Greg Miller lending his voice to Howard the Duck, Peter Serafinowicz portraying the game's main villain Kang the Conqueror, and Sacha Dhawan returning to voice his character Steel Serpent from the Iron Fist TV series. The game's prologue introduces players to the game's mechanics and basic controls, as well as the main villain, Kang the Conqueror. The game's Story Mode follows a linear path, with players controlling various Marvel superheroes and battling their way through different levels and locations throughout time and space. No Eson of Mine

In this walkthrough, the player is guided through various tasks in the game "Lego Marvel Superheroes 2". The player is required to use different characters' unique abilities to complete each task. They need to shoot switches in a specific order to gain a Minikit, blow up objects with Star-Lord's gravity mine, and rescue civilians. They also need to defeat a giant enemy, Eson the Searcher, by shooting and breaking its arms and shooting its exposed core. Completing this mission unlocks the characters Drax, Gamora, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, and Star-Lord.

Avenger's World Tour

To progress in the game, complete No Eson of Mine and then speak with Iron Man in the foyer of the Avengers Mansion. Collect several parts from different rooms and return to Iron Man to continue. Use Captain America and She-Hulk to reach different areas and destroy objects to reveal buildable. Build the contraption in the center, defeat enemies, and take down the mind-controlled Cap to defeat the Presence. Switch to Iron Man and Captain Marvel to proceed through different rooms, defeat enemies, and destroy machines. In New York City, use Spider-Man pulls apart the bus and builds a tightrope panel to face Shocker and Mysterio. Use Ms. Marvel to reach Shocker and keep attacking him. Take down Kraven and Doctor Octopus by waiting for their attacks and striking back quickly. Overall, the gameplay involves using different characters with unique abilities to progress through levels, collect parts, build objects, and defeat enemies.

Castle Hassle

To begin the mission, select Team Captain America which includes Cap, Star-Lord, Groot, and Gamora. Head towards the portal to go back in time and talk to the Black Knight to start the mission. Defeat the enemies along the way and reach the castle to get a Gold Brick. Interact with the Map Point to reveal different locations in the area and then walk into the glowing area to proceed. Use Doctor Strange to lower the elevator on the left side of the bridge, then use Groot to enter the elevator and grow. Next, use Doctor Strange to raise the elevator to the top and switch back to Groot to interact with the switch and roll into a ball. Rolling towards the castle will open the gate. Fight the new foes and cross the bridge into the castle. Use Doctor Strange to open the door on the left and get a Minikit. Break all the objects in the hallway and build a battering ram with Groot. Cut through the vines below the bridge on the right and build a portal with Doctor Strange. Extinguish the final two torches to get a Minikit and fly high above the right tower to find a hidden Minikit. Use Groot to break the ground in the middle of the platform and use Star-Lord's gravity mine. Fast forward time to Doctor Strange to incapacitate the Enchantress and punch her to continue. In the dungeon, pause the trap ahead with Doctor Strange and defeat the enemies in the room. Use Doctor Strange to lower the silver cage and interact with the rubble to build a Minikit. Free Captain America with Doctor Strange and use Cap to open the door to reveal the Black Knight. Fight him and the other soldiers to complete the mission and unlock Gwen Stacey, Spider-Gwen, Captain Avalon, Doctor Strange, and the Enchantress.

What's Klaw's is Mined

Join Team Spider-Man to start the mission. Use She-hulk and Spider-Man to open the door, then enter the glowing area to start. Use Ms. Marvel to clear obstacles, solve puzzles, and find Superior Spider-Man. Use Spider-Man and a crane to reveal a Minikit. Defeat Man-Ape by attacking him from a distance with Black Panther or Spider-Man and dodging vibranium melting pots. Repeat this a couple of times to finish him off and unlock new characters like Black Panther, Man-Ape, and Superior Spiderman.  

Hydra Hijinks

To start the mission, head to the waypoint and interact with the console that requires 10 vibranium objects. Look for the objects on the minimap and collect them before returning them to the receptacle. Destroy the five Captain America wanted posters to receive a Minikit. Use Cap’s shield to deflect lasers and destroy obstacles. Build a rebound switch, a flyer, and a gravity mine booster to progress. Solve a puzzle to unlock Captain America (Secret Empire). Defeat enemies and destroy balloons to receive mini kits. To finish the mission and unlock new characters like Baron Zemo, Bowman, Klaw, Tactical Force, and Captain America.

High-Noon Saloon

After finishing Hydra Hijinks, switches to Thor to quickly take out Man-Thing and his minions by charging Mjölnir and using the electricity beam. At the Saloon, destroy everything before building the object in front of the stage and look under the staircase on the right to find a hidden Minikit. Use Rocket Racoon to charge the electrical switch and blow up the three silver chests on the stage to create 3 cacti and receive another Minikit. Use Rocket's beam weapon to immobilize M.O.D.O.K. and take out his minions with Drax and Cap's shield. Push a barrel onto Modok to finish the fight. On the train, use Kid Colt's dynamite to hit balloons, swing and jump to reach different train cars, defeat enemies, and use gravity mine boosters to progress. Take on Captain Corbett and place Kid Colt on the bottom of the see-saw so Star-Lord can reach the other side. Use the cannon to finish the mission and unlock several characters like Captain America (Old West), Kid Colt, Captain Corbett, and M.O.D.O.K.

Surtur-n Doom

Start this mission with Team Thor and head towards the blocked entryway. Break the object on the left side of the bridge with a strong character and melt the gold object on the right with a heat character. Use the parts to construct a turret, then proceed through the glowing ring. You'll face Surtur immediately, but there are some collectibles to collect. Melt the 5 smaller statues with Captain Marvel, douse the lone flame on the left with Captain America's shield to construct a barrel, then use Thor's strength to open it and get a Minikit. Interact with the computer on the left with Captain Marvel, use the crossbow to shoot all the balloons, and get another Minikit. Fly up behind the second pillar on the right to find a third Minikit. To defeat Surtur, douse the flames and build a catapult, then send a water barrel to the boss with Cap's shield. Charge the object on the right with Thor's electricity and throw barrels at Surtur. After he minimizes and attacks you, perform the onscreen commands before switching to Captain America. Ring the bell with the shield platform and throw the shield to the rebound switch. Gwenpool will appear to help. Charge up Thor’s electricity before attacking him again. Completing this mission unlocks Thor (Jane Foster) and Surtur.

Rune to Maneuver

Join Team Spider-Man at the Sanctorum and have Doctor Strange open the door to start the mission. Destroy the 5 stacks of cards to get a Minikit. Draw the first rune on the left and head inside the room on the right to defeat monsters, build a latch, and get some studs. Have two characters jump on the strings by the red curtains to break the window and reveal a sand pit. Next, use Wong to build a portal to the room on the right and bring down the hutch to reveal another rune. Head upstairs and use Doctor Strange to rewind time and reveal a ladder. Climb up to the top floor and interact with the console on the right to reveal a box. Fix the tile floor and move each of the cases into their color-coordinated spots to reveal the final rune. Use all the runes to initiate a cutscene and fight against Mordo. Defeat his monsters, attack Mordo, and target all four Mordo enemies at once to progress to the next phase. Completing the mission will unlock Wong, Dormammu, and Mordo.

Noir Night-Mayor

The mission that unlocks after completing another mission. The player must go with Team Spider-man, talk to Daredevil, and help civilians. Then they must create a custom character and destroy hanging banners to acquire a Minikit. The player must also use Ms. Marvel to navigate through mazes, defeat bosses, and collect mini-kits. The mission concludes by defeating the final boss, Kingpin, and unlocking several characters.

K'un-Lun Konundrum

To unlock the mission, "Steel Serpent," players need to complete the "Noir Night-Mayor" mission. They must use Iron Fist's chi to shoot the dragon's mouth and enter the glowing circle to begin. Using Spider-man, players need to swing back and forth to find a purple stud and break a giant container to find a Minikit. They also need to use Ms. Marvel to break through the floor and push an object to the right. Players must defeat the ninjas and Steel Serpent with Spider-man's fast attacks and Iron Fist's chi. Finally, they need to spam the button prompted on the screen as Iron Fist to defeat the dragon.

Inhuman Nature

To access this mission, complete Kree-search and Development and join Team Black Bolt. Defeat the sentry by shooting from afar and clearing its drones, then defeat the minions to damage it again. Break objects on the left and dig up parts with Triton in the first room. Use Lockjaw to teleport and pull green handles to allow teammates to come through. Charge the electrical panel with Crystal, break flying drones to free Stan Lee in Peril, and stand on pressure plates with four characters. Use Black Bolt's Sonar to reveal parts and build a computer to open the door on the right. Push the large object across the tile path, interact with the panel, and climb the ladder to release the final arm. Pull the switch in the back right corner to start a puzzle and defeat Maximus by attacking when vulnerable and standing on pressure plates to lower his shield. Swim toward Maximus and use Black Bolt's Sonar to defeat him. Completing this mission unlocks Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Lockjaw, Triton, and Maximus.

Red King Revelation

Begin this mission with Team Thor. Free Stan Lee from peril by defeating the enemies on the back left balcony. Unfurl 5 flags in the seating section with Doctor Strange to receive a Minikit. Charge up Thor's electricity and use it on the electrical panel on the left to reveal another Minikit. Use Doctor Strange to pull the handles on the rubble to receive one more Minikit. Melt the chariots to reveal parts and build objects to progress. Defeat the Red King riding a giant snake monster by reflecting the laser with Captain America's shield and using Thor's electricity to charge the bottom panel. Complete this mission to unlock Hulk, Bruce Banner, Kronan Warrior, and more.

Torg-nado

To access this mission, finish Red King Revelation. Swim to the top of the room to discover a hidden mini kit. In the beginning, don't defeat Torg but lift a box with green handles using Hulk. A crab will appear; cut the mossy chain with a small character, then use Hulk to throw Torg through the wall. Use Doctor Strange to interact with the box in the next room and hit the switches inside to match the order seen out the window: red, blue, green, green, blue, red. Use Cap to throw his shield at the rebound panel and build a shield panel after Torg jumps on. Use Thor to charge up the electrical panel and use Stingray to operate the computer. Find a Minikit by chomping a treasure chest on the left. Swim up to the top left to uncover another mini kit using Doctor Strange. Lastly, defeat Attuma by keeping him on the attack and eliminating his minions to complete the mission and unlock Stingray, Attuma, and Torg.

I Sphinx We Have A Problem

To access this mission, complete Torg-nado and continue with Team Thor. Talk to the Egyptian to start your trials to get the Nexus Fragment. Race on a camel, defeat enemies and solve puzzles to progress. Use specific characters' abilities to navigate obstacles and traps. Face Loki and defeat the Living Mummy to finish the mission and unlock Horus.

The Road to Knowhere

To start the story mission, finish each mission with the different teams and head to the roof of the Avenger’s Mansion with Iron Man. Follow the arrow directions on the console to build a machine, then fix it and break the boxes on the right to construct the control panel. Get the missing pieces and talk to Doctor Strange to begin the mission. Break objects and use characters like Black Bolt and Spider-Man to acquire Minikits and character tokens. Solve puzzles and defeat enemies to progress through the level. Use different characters like White Tiger, Thor, and Cap to build structures, charge panels, and fend off attacks. Finish the mission to unlock new characters.

On Board the Sword

Use Spider-Man to pull it and proceed. Build a gravity mine booster using the provided parts and toss it to reveal a fixable object. Interact with it using Iron Man, then proceed to the glowing circle to start the mission. Destroy all five projections of Kang to obtain a Minikit, two of which can be found in the first room. Use Spider-Man to pull down an object and build another Minikit. Fly to the ceiling to find the last one. Use Spider-Man to pull a handle and a gravity mine to unlock parts for the blue section. Use Iron Man to cut out the shape at the far right to unlock the yellow section. Head to the top right room, stand on the red switch with Spider-Man, destroy all the objects to obtain parts to build the computer, and use it to shift the block. Drop down into the room, break all objects to get more parts, and create the barrier to solve the puzzle. Use the computer with Spider-Man to move the block to the right, switch to another character to push it to the end, and melt the gold part with Iron Man. Interact with the computer in the upper right room, pull the handles with Spider-Man, and get in the cart to proceed. Defeat Korvac's minions and then reach the final stage where you must defeat several minions while taking down Korvac. Finish the fight to complete the mission and unlock Iron Man (MK 47) and Korvac.

Out of Time

To access this mission, complete On Board the Sword. Defeat waves of drones on the tower and destroy the mechanisms generating the barrier. Fly to the waypoint and step into the circle to start the mission. Find a Minikit in a tube by the entrance. Build a gravity mine booster to lower climbable walls, stand on a pressure switch, toss your shield at a switch, use a rune with Doctor Strange, and cut out a sword shape with Captain Marvel to progress. Defeat Kang and his minions in different stages of the fight. Dodge attacks, focus on Kang and switch to Doctor Strange to reveal a mini kit by rewinding time. Use Captain Marvel to cut through a wall and break objects to complete the path. Push a block, re-align sensors, and jump into a portal with Captain America to fight giant Kang using on-screen prompts. Complete the mission to unlock Kang, Ravonna, and Terminatrix.
