After talking to the person who gives you the task (remember to follow the white marks on the map for these extra activities), head to where the scary creatures are and take a photo. It might not be easy because you don't have clear clues. One breathes fire, another summons lightning, and the third is poisonous.

Similar to Lost Judgment, the game includes Master System games that Kiryu can play, such as Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Alien Syndrome, Enduro Racer, Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa, Galaxy Force, Global Defense, Maze Hunter 3-D, Quartet, Secret Command, and the SG-1000 version of Flicky. Additionally, various arcade titles like Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic the Fighters, Daytona USA 2 (also known as Sega Racing Classic 2), and Fighting Vipers 2 are featured.

In Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, the story unfolds after the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and stretches across the timeline of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, leading into the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Following a staged death to protect his foster children, Kazuma Kiryu now operates as a secret agent codenamed "Joryu" for the Daidoji faction, having made a pact with them.
However, a mission gone wrong forces Kiryu out of hiding when a mysterious figure emerges. New characters in this adventure include Kihei Hanawa, a Daidoji faction handler; Homare Nishitani III, patriarch of the Kijin Clan; Kosei Shishido and Yuki Tsuruno of the Omi Alliance's Watase Family; Akame, an informant in Sotenbori; Yoshimura, a contemptuous Daidoji faction manager; the head priest of the Daidoji Temple; and the Boss, a shadowy high-ranking Daidoji officer. Familiar faces from previous Like a Dragon titles return, including Masaru Watase, Daigo Dojima, Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima, Ichiban Kasuga, and Haruka Sawamura, enriching the narrative with their presence.
