Jude, the main character, conveniently loses all of his memories and callously walks away, displaying complete obliviousness towards Emma, his partner, and even his own camera. In a desperate attempt to stop him, Emma futilely tries to intervene, only to be met with aggression as he callously pushes her down.
This conveniently triggers a dramatic surge of emotions within Emma, conveniently resulting in a profound loss of her memories. And just when we thought the contrivances couldn't get any more excessive, Jude and Emma miraculously cross paths once again as if it's their first encounter.
What exactly is the significance of this convoluted sequence? The film shamelessly tries to explore the cliché notion that memories may fade, but emotions endure. Despite Jude's convenient amnesia, he conveniently experiences a conveniently timed surge of remorse for his conveniently cruel actions, leading him to conveniently return to the beach.
Meanwhile, Emma conveniently finds herself bereft of any recollection of Jude. The film conveniently leaves us to imagine a second chance for the couple, where they conveniently have no memory of their previous life together. Naturally, the film conveniently avoids providing any subsequent scenes that would shed light on Emma and Jude's conveniently uncertain future. Instead, it conveniently leaves us with the opportunity to engage in baseless speculation about the conveniently ambiguous possibilities that may lie ahead.

Little Fish Plot
Ben and Samantha are deeply in love as a couple. However, their relationship takes a tragic turn when Ben develops NIA (Neuroinflammatory Affliction) and gradually forgets Samantha. The situation reaches a breaking point when Ben, confused and disoriented, mistakes Samantha for an intruder and tries to defend himself with a kitchen knife.
Devastated by this heartbreaking incident, Samantha is faced with a difficult decision: either stay with Ben and endure the painful journey alongside him or leave him behind in order to preserve her own well-being. Ultimately, she chooses to part ways with Ben, unable to come to terms with the fact that the love of her life no longer remembers her. The fate of Ben is left undisclosed, but Samantha decides to move away, seeking a fresh start for herself.
The story then shifts to Emma and Jude. Emma and Jude's relationship begins at a water park, blossoming into love and culminating in marriage. Emma works as a veterinarian, while Jude pursues a career in photography. Witnessing the tragedy that befell Ben and Sam, Emma and Jude live in constant anticipation of a similar fate.
Unfortunately, Jude is the first to experience memory loss. Despite Emma's best efforts to enroll him in a clinical trial, Jude is disqualified due to the presence of cocaine in his system. Unbeknownst to Jude, he briefly reconnects with an old friend and unknowingly indulges in cocaine, instantly forgetting the encounter. In a desperate attempt, Emma and Jude venture into an unauthorized clinical procedure, but their hopes are dashed as it proves ineffective.
One morning, Jude wakes up momentarily forgetting Emma, only to have his memories of her return later. Realizing the fragility of their situation, they decide to escape for a brief getaway, retreating to a cottage. There, Jude opens up to Emma, confessing his imminent loss of memories. Over the following days, Emma realizes that she has been so focused on preserving Jude's memories that she has neglected her own memory lapses, a revelation that weighs heavily on her.
