Lords of the Fallen Gameplay

In this game, you play from a third-person view. You can use both melee weapons (like swords) and magic to fight your enemies. The way you fight in this game is similar to other games like Dark Souls, which means it's challenging. You can go through the game's story alone or with a friend. You can also compete against other players in a multiplayer mode. At the beginning of the game, you get to create your own character and pick from one of nine character types. The game world is pretty big, even bigger than the 2014 version.

The unique thing here is that there are two worlds on top of each other. One is called Axiom, where living things are, and the other is Umbral, where the dead are. You can switch between these two worlds using a special lantern. Sometimes, places that you can't reach in one world can be reached in the other.

If your character dies, they go to the Umbral world and you need to return to the Axiom world to get back the experience points you lost when you died. But if you die in Umbral, you go back to your last save point and lose the experience points you hadn't used yet. Save points are a bit rare in each area, but you can make your own save points by gathering materials from monsters in the Umbral world.
