Love Island Australia is a reality dating show where single contestants, called "islanders," live in a secluded villa to find love. They form couples to avoid elimination, and Australia votes for their favorite islanders. The winning couple is decided by an Australian vote at the end. Presented by Sophie Monk and narrated by Eoghan McDermott (seasons 1-2) and Stephen Mullan (season 3 onwards), the show first aired on 9Go! and 9Now in 2018, later moving to Nine Network's main channel.
After a hiatus, the third season in 2021 was filmed in various locations, including Port Douglas, Northern NSW, and Byron Bay. The fourth season premiered in October 2022, and the fifth season is set to air in October 2023, filmed in Mallorca.

The OG Islander Ben faced elimination when the new arrival Aidan pursued Tyra, ultimately leaving Ben without a connection.
The recoupling ceremonies brought unexpected twists, and as the drama unfolds, some islanders find themselves saying goodbye to the Love Island experience.
