Josef has been dumped in a scrap yard and needs to put himself back together. He should use the bathtub twice and his body twice. He should then use the robot head to connect it to his body. By speaking with the rodent, he will learn that he needs to find a doll. To collect it, he should extend his body, grab the doll, and give it to the rodent. The rodent will give him his leg in exchange. After obtaining the magnet, he should attach it to the string. He should walk to the spool and get the string from it. Then, he should walk over to the pole and activate it to push it. To collect his arm, he can toss the string to the pole.

The entrance to the city is blocked by a checkpoint that only the police can pass through. However, Josef can disguise himself. He should get the traffic cone and toss the other cones to the side. He should also get the blue paint and dump it into the white paint bucket. After dipping the cone in the bucket, he should climb the lamp on the left and move the rungs upward as he climbs. At the top, he should collect the bulb and cone to wear them. Josef should extend his body and pull the cord to call the guard and lower the bridge.

The bridge was a bit too slippery, but there's still an alternate entry. Josef should lower his body and use the control panel next to the door. He should turn the dials to A and 2, and click the red button to adjust the position of the pipe above. He should then climb the stairs, get the hook, and attach it to the railing. Josef should raise his body, jump up, and shimmy to the right to get the spike. He should place the spike on the outer rail and push the railing (which bumps into the switch) to call and derail a cart. Josef can then use the derailed cart to extract wheels and sit on them. He should push the railing again for another cart that will bring him into the reactor room.

After watching two bad guys prepare a bomb, Josef is thrown into a prison. He should get the grass on the pipe, head towards the light on the left, and dry the grass on the light. He should then get the toilet paper, combine it with the grass, and give it to the other prisoner. The other prisoner will drop his arm. Josef should use the arm in the hole on the left, extend the arm through the back hole, and grab the shelf. He should then shake the shelf to get the broom. After using the pipe's handle twice to detach it, he should connect it to the broom and unscrew the floor plate.

In the guard room, Josef should unscrew the floor panel with the broom. He should then activate the chair, and when the guard tips back, Josef should push the chair to knock the guard down. While the guard is down, he should get the bullets from the plate. When the guard is at the target, Josef should grab his key and scatter bullets next to the lock. After exiting the hole, he should use the key on the left lock and return to the hole. Josef can then exit the room via the upper door.

Josef should press the light switch next to the door on the upper floor and note the revealed time on the clock, which is 4:45. Then he should go down the stairs and return to the prison rooms on the left. He should punch 4:45 into the keypad to unlock the safe.The safe requires solving a puzzle where he needs to rotate rings of green/red lights. He needs to get all green lights in the middle, although some starting positions may mean it's easier to get the red lights on the outside. When the safe is open, he will receive a grapple launcher. City - Arcade

Begin by opening the electrical panel, but while trying to solve the puzzle, a piece falls out and is eaten by a bird. Move to the left of the arcade and raise and lower your body until the wire snaps, causing the bird to fall and drop the piece. Next, tie the electrical wire to the fence, climb the robot, and unplug his tool. When you fall, pull the loose wire. After the robot moves to the next set of wires, climb him again, and pull the cat's tail. When the cat reaches the fence, cut the power from the puzzle, then retrieve the cat. Bring it to the musicians outside the bar, where the cat will chase out a rodent, leading the lady to throw the radio out the window in frustration. Collect the radio and combine it with the microphone. If you want, head to the doorway left of the musicians to get the oil. Return to the old man to get into the maintenance area. He also asks for sunflower oil and moves his wheelchair off the cover.

City - Water Works

To cut flow to the fountain, you need three wrenches. Begin at the maze of pipes, and get the hook in the middle. Open the drawer to the right and read the book. The final page has a red wrench. Head to the drain on the lower left and use the hook to pull out the third wrench. Then, put two wrenches on the left two in the upper row and the second slot in the lower row. These cuts flow to all but two pipes. Plug in the radio to the right and ask the wrench to flood the lower portion of the room. Return to the plaza and jump in the fountain to access the lift on the outer wall.

Outer Wall

To get to the top part of the city and closer to the tower, get on the elevator and press the button to bring it down. Check the window to see Berta, who was kidnapped by the Brotherhood. Have Berta remove the pot and place it on the floor. Then, open the cabinet and place the corn on the hot plate, which dislodges a hooked rod. Take it and put it in the window. Climb up, dislodge the vent, and get the frozen hose. Return the pot to the stove, then put the hose in the pot to defrost it. Next, attach the hose to the oil to fuel the lift, and pull the ignition to start it. Solve the four-knights puzzle on the control panel by moving all the sliders one step clockwise and repeating the movement three more times. Tap the fan to awaken it, then provide the wrong answers to its questions to anger it. Once it is too angry, it will launch the fan, allowing you to enter the greenhouse.

In order to exit, a specific slide needs to be viewed, but some equipment is missing. To solve this problem, activate the power panel located on the right. It is a sliding-maze puzzle, where you can choose any square and slide it in one direction until it reaches an obstacle. This puzzle can be easily solved by starting at an outer corner and spiraling inward. To view the desired slide, move the growth laser onto the right plant, and activate the laser by pressing the lower-left button on the power panel. Then, hold open the plant's mouth with the stick that was holding it up and retrieve the magnifying glass from inside. Use the magnifying glass to view slide set 1 from the desk. One of the slides shows the combination to the door, while the other slide set shows plants. Place the plant in the empty flower pot, use the growth laser on it, and shake the plant for the seeds. To open the outer door, light the inner three dots on each wing and the two dots at the corner.

To obtain the necessary sunflower oil, place the oil can under the seed crusher, crush the seeds, and collect the can. Next, give the can to the old man in the plaza to receive a bandage and an arcade ticket. To power the arcade machines, use the bicycle machine on the left. You can only charge machines #1 and #2, and the third will malfunction if charged. Complete arcade game #1, which is Space Invaders, and achieve a score of 1000 points. Complete arcade game #2, which is a block puzzle game consisting of five levels. To complete the fifth level, move the large red block to the top-right, the small block one step to the left, the large red left one step, the top-right block to the top-left, the large red right one step, the small block left one step, the large red left one step, the large white right one step, the lower-white up one step and right two steps, the left-white left one step, the large red right one step, the small red left one step, and the right-white down one step. Load the small red onto the white, push up, and then load onto the large red.

After completing both arcade games, purchase two batteries from the vending machine with the coins you have received. Wrap them with the bandage and give them to the large cop in the elevator. To reach the top of the tower, scrape dirt from the plant onto the floor and retrieve the vacuum. Put the light plug into the elevator panel in the top-right corner and draw a 5-pointed star. In the bomb disarming room, turn on the electricity, bring the vacuum to the washroom, climb the vacuum to retrieve the scissors, cut the cable, and attach the hook to the vacuum and then to the toilet. Detach the toilet and use the paper dispenser to reach the bomb. Disarm the bomb by placing the correct fuse in each slot to match the numbers on the right, with the disarm code being DBEAC. Finally, enter the control room located at the top to complete the mission.

  • Use the hammer to break the window and retrieve the key.

  • Use the key to access the freeze spray in the elevator.

  • Apply the freeze spray to the padlock located under the trap door.

  • Break the lock to escape.

Machinarium Gameplay Trailer

The objective of Machinarium is to solve a sequence of challenging puzzles and mind teasers. These puzzles are interlinked through an overarching world that follows the traditional "point and click" adventure storyline. However, the overworld is unique in that only objects within the proximity of the player character can be clicked on.

What sets Machinarium apart is that it doesn't contain any dialogue, either spoken or written, except for a few introductory instructions on the initial screen. Instead, the game uses animated thought bubbles to communicate. Also, hidden backstory scenes can only be revealed by lingering in specific areas.

To assist players, the game employs a two-tier hint system. Once per level, the player can get a hint, which becomes progressively less specific as the game advances.
