Following the tumultuous cultural festival, Masamune Makabe remains steadfast in his quest for revenge: to make the "Cruel Princess" Aki Adagaki fall deeply in love with him and then swiftly break her heart. With his class embarking on a trip to Paris, famously known as the City of Love, Masamune sees the perfect opportunity to exact payback for the childhood heartache he endured.
Before Masamune can work his charms on Aki, fate introduces them to Muriel Besson, a French high school student and devoted otaku with dreams of creating a romantic comedy manga series. Muriel sees in Masamune the ideal model for her protagonist and seeks his assistance.
Despite his initial reluctance, Masamune agrees to help, enlisting Aki's involvement to provide inspiration for the character of the love interest. However, there's a catch – they must demonstrate to Muriel what love is like in the Japanese context.
