Masterchef US Season 8 Where are They Now?

The American reality competition television series MasterChef's eighth season telecasted on Fox on May 31 and ended on September 20. Judges Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi are back. As the third judge this season, Aarón Sánchez joined the cast. This season was won by Dino Angelo Luciano with Eboni Henry and Jason Wang finishing as runners-up.

Dino Angelo Luciano

New Yorker and dancer Dino Angelo Luciano was from Bensonhurst. His inventive menu, which included traditional dishes like squid ink spaghetti, lamb chops, and tiramisu but with a modern touch, helped him win the eighth season of MasterChef. Following winning MasterChef, Dino worked as the executive chef at Muse and Market in Phoenix and presented a number of upscale dinners and pop-up dining events under the name The Gourmet Rabbit. He publishes recipes on YouTube as well.

Eboni Henry

Eboni Henry was a Chicago-based addiction specialist. In the season 8 finale of MasterChef, Dino defeated her, and she finished second. Eboni is a private chef who offers private dining experiences after MasterChef. She features in cookery videos on Youtube with Jacoby Ponder.

Jason Wang

From Newton, Massachusetts, Jason Wang taught music to high school students. He finished second in season 8 of MasterChef. Following winning MasterChef, Jason works as a chef, culinary instructor, and TV host for cooking programs including Jason On Mission on FOX Taiwan. He performs as a tenor singer on the side.

Caitlin Meade

A nutritionist from Chicago, Illinois, Cate Meade. In addition to being a Personal Meal-Prep Chef and providing private dining experiences, cooking workshops, seminars, and personal grocery shopping services, Cate also competed on MasterChef. For MasterChef 12: Back to Win, she came back

Jeff Philbin

From Tampa, Florida, Jeff Philbin worked as a marketing director. Jeff resumed his prior position as a Marketing Director following MasterChef until June 2018. He worked as a private chef and restaurant consultant before becoming the director of a business strategy for an advertising firm. Jeff publishes recipes online and participates in local cooking shows.

Yachecia Holston

Minister Yachecia Holston was from Detroit, Michigan. Yachecia is a private chef who offers private dining experiences after MasterChef and has participated in a number of regional pop-up cooking events.

Gabriel Lewis

Fast food server Gabriel Lewis was from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gordon had offered him instruction in the culinary arts, and Aaron had offered him a job following that. Before the epidemic struck, he had intended to relocate to New Orleans and accept Aaron's offer. He now works as a private chef, catering private dinners and events and teaching cooking classes online. He also serves as a brand ambassador for several companies. Daniel Pontes-Macedo

A substitute teacher from Medford, Massachusetts, named Daniel Pontes-Macedo worked there. After being in the bottom three in a challenge involving chocolate truffles for season 8 episode 15, he was eliminated. After MasterChef, Daniel works as a private chef, provides catering for intimate gatherings, and does online and live cooking workshops. He was an Executive Chef at Becks's Bistro Catering before starting the food truck VictorEats Food Truck in June 2021.

Caitlin Jones 

Dancer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Caitlin Jones. After a Mexican plate Team Challenge, she was fired from MasterChef in episode 14 of season 8. In addition to being a personal trainer and event caterer, Caitlin also blogs about paleo foods.

Adam Wong

Harvard student Adam Wong was from Cambridge, Massachusetts. In MasterChef season 8 episode 13, he was ousted following a chicken and potato cook-off with Caitlin. Adam worked as an intern and then a research fellow at Niskanen Center after winning MasterChef. He is currently employed by Starburst Aerospace as the U.S. Accelerator Principal and vlogs about cuisine on YouTube.

Jenny Cavellier

Jenny Cavellier was a Cincinnati, Ohio-based special needs therapist. After placing in the bottom two in a pressure test involving crawfish dumplings for MasterChef season 8 episode 12, she was eliminated. Jenny worked as a training supervisor after winning MasterChef and is now a national account director in the medical industry.

Mike Newton

Texas's Lipan was the home of ranch owner Mike Newton. He was eliminated in MasterChef season 8 episode 11 after a champagne-poached oysters pressure test. Following winning MasterChef, Mike works as a private chef, providing pop-up dining events, cooking classes, and private dining experiences. He was providing eating options at Newton's Cellar in 2021.

Reba Billingsley

From Carthage, Texas, Reba Billingsley was a stay-at-home mother. She was ousted in the bottom four of the coconut elimination task in MasterChef season 8 episode 10. Following MasterChef, Reba worked as a private chef, wrote her first cookbook, which has not yet been released, and frequently shares recipes on social media.

Brien O'Brien

Brien O'Brien, a native of Redding, California, was employed in magazine ad sales. Brien returned to culinary school after winning MasterChef, worked in kitchens, and created vlogs about the experience. He worked as an intern at Bouchon Bistro, at other eateries, at wineries, and pop-up dining events. Together with his brother, he co-hosts the podcast Talking NorCal and speaks about MasterChef on local television.

Necco Ceresani

Necco Ceresani was a Marketing Manager from Newberry, South Carolina. After placing in the bottom two in a hanger steak elimination challenge, he was ousted in MasterChef season 8 episode 8. Necco works as a journalist at VentureFizz, a marketing manager, and a growth hacker at a remote access firm called Logmein after she finishes MasterChef.

Jennifer Williams

A debt collector from Chalmette, Louisiana, Jennifer Williams. Jennifer worked as a communication director after winning MasterChef and provided private dinner events at her house. She currently runs the Charleston-based boutique store Second Line Art & Vintage, which also provides interior design services. Also, she caters for pop-up dining events and private meals.

Sam Reiff- Pasarew

A creative writing Teacher from Washington, D.C., Sam Reiff-Pasarew. Sam is an executive producer and founding member of Story Pirates, a New York and Los Angeles-based media and arts education firm, after MasterChef. He has participated in several pop-up cooking events and frequently shares culinary photos on social media.

Heather Dombrosky

Registered nurse Heather Dombrosky was from Miami, Florida. She was eliminated in the bottom two of the scrambled eggs elimination task in MasterChef season 8 episode 5. Heather became a nurse and works for a medical technology business after winning MasterChef. She enjoys surfing and has worked as a private chef for dinner parties.

Paige Jimenez

Hawaii's Honolulu was the home of swimsuit model Paige Jimenez. Paige went back to culinary school after winning MasterChef and earned her culinary degree, but she declined a job offer at a prestigious restaurant since the hours would prevent her from modeling. She still works as a model for clothing companies and has been featured in publications like Cosmo.

Mark Togni

From Portland, Oregon, Mark Togni was a stay-at-home parent. After attempting a Mystery Box task a second time, he was eliminated from MasterChef season 8 episode 3. Mark went back to being a stay-at-home dad after winning MasterChef.
