She later opened her second restaurant, Xin Chao, with Tony J. Nguyen in 2020. Luca Manfé, originally from Astoria, New York, won the MasterChef Season 4 competition with his impressive three-course meal that included short ribs. Courtney Lapresi, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, won the MasterChef Season 5 competition with her wonderfully eclectic three-course meal that impressed the judges. Following her win, Courtney released a cookbook titled "Everyday Fancy: 65 Easy, Elegant Recipes for Meals, Snacks, Sweets, and Drinks". Nowadays, she works in sales for Tesla.
