Michele Gumabao Career

Michele Gumabao is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL).

Gumabao began her volleyball career as a member of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers, where she won three consecutive championships in the UAAP. She was also named Best Blocker twice and was co-captain of the team in her final season.

In 2013, Gumabao joined the PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo Puffins of the PSL. She then played for the AirAsia Flying Spikers and the Generika Ayala Lifesavers. In 2017, she signed with the Creamline Cool Smashers, where she has remained ever since.

Gumabao is a versatile player who can play at multiple positions, including outside hitter, opposite hitter, and middle blocker. She is known for her powerful spikes, her good blocking, and her athleticism.

In addition to her volleyball career, Gumabao has also ventured into beauty pageantry. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe in 2018, and represented the Philippines at Miss Globe later that year, placing in the top 15.
