Cheritz, a South Korean game development company, is responsible for developing Mystic Messenger, a well-known otome game. It was first released on July 8, 2016, for Android and August 18, 2016, for iOS, and is available in Korean, English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. The game is unique in that it is a "storytelling messenger game," where the player takes on the role of a female character who must organize a party by inviting guests.
The story begins when the female protagonist downloads a mysterious app that leads her to either live in a closed, secure apartment owned by Rika, the founder of a charity organization called the RFA (Rika's Fundraising Association), or the Mint Eye HQ. In the RFA apartment, she meets the other members of the organization and is tasked with organizing a party.
However, in Another Story, the protagonist is tricked by Unknown into playing the game and is taken to the Mint Eye HQ, where she is kept by his side.The player can choose from seven available routes, each with its own unique background story. As the protagonist, the player will uncover the truth behind the RFA and Mint Eye while forming relationships with the other characters.

Throughout the first four days, you'll need to give responses to certain characters to increase their likability, represented by hearts. The better you do, the more likely you are to unlock the character's route. But beware - by the end of the fourth day, you'll encounter a Caution. This crucial moment determines whether you'll get a route or a bad ending based on your accumulated hearts and chatroom participation within the four days. Yikes.
But don't worry - during each route, you'll have three Cautions in different days, which means you'll need to participate in chats before ending. In the chatrooms, you'll talk with characters and make decisions that can impact a character's feelings towards the protagonist and ultimately their route.
