Nahida Story Quest Act 2 in Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact's Nahida Story Quest Act 2, the group is tasked with journeying to the deepest part of the Chasm to locate a special elemental life form. The story reaches this point when the group discovers that one of the Floating Hydro Fungus' family members ventured east of Sumeru and never returned, leading Paimon to realize that the Chasm is the mysterious and dangerous location in question. To fulfill their mission, Nahida leads the group into the treacherous depths of the Chasm. It's worth noting that Genshin Impact is available on various platforms, including mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. Additionally, a Switch version of the game is currently under development.
Nahida Story Quest Act 2 Walkthrough
The Homecoming Quest or Sapientia Oromasdis Chapter Act II, also referred to as Nahida's Story Quest, pertains to the Dendro Archon and is the second installment of its kind. It becomes accessible for good once you've finished Archon Quest Chapter III, Act V, and the first segment of Nahida's Story Quest: Sapientia Oromasdis Act I. To unlock it, you must have an Adventure Rank of 40 or higher and utilize one Story Key as usual.
Part 1: Where Lies the Path Home
To commence Nahida's Story Quest, head outside of Sumeru City and have a conversation with Nahida. Afterward, proceed south and follow the blue Hydro Fungus to trigger a lengthy dialogue scene. Continue the story by traveling to the next location, Yazadaha Pool, located south of Sumeru City, and approaching the Fungus once again. This process involves following the Fungus, engaging in battles against minor enemies (such as four Hilichurls), and progressing through the dialogue. As you make your way through the Withering Zone using the Dendrogranum, beware of the ruin enemies guarding the area, as defeating them beforehand will make it easier to complete the cleansing process. Failing to do so will require you to fight all the opponents simultaneously. Upon clearing the Withering Zone, you'll receive an Exquisite Chest. The next quest location is near Mawtiyima Forest, in the northeastern part of Sumeru, where you'll transform into a Fungus and need to progress undetected. Once you've identified the elemental lifeform on the cliff's edge, the next cutscene begins automatically. Following the conversation, tend to the farmland by planting a seed and watering it with a Hydro attack. To locate and eliminate the invading plants, climb the nearby rocks and collect the two Sweet Flowers, which will summon two Pyro Whopperflowers that you must defeat.
To finish the first part of Nahida's Story Quest, return to the location where you initially encountered the Fungi, located slightly south. Upon doing so, you'll receive the following completion rewards: Adventure EXP x875, Mora x53,900, Hero's Wit x6, and Mystic Enhancement Ore x12.
Part 2: What Shape does the Self Hold?
The second part of Nahida's Story Quest takes place in The Chasm: Underground Mines. However, before you can access this area, you must first complete a World Quest called Perils in the Dark. Once you have done so, continue with the quest and head further into the cave towards the west after the first part of the dialogue. During this section, you will face Rifthounds and an Oozing Concretion that you must get rid of. It's essential to equip your Lumenstone Adjuvant Gadget before attempting to clear the Oozing Concretion, as you cannot remove it without this gadget.
To successfully defeat the Rifthounds, it's recommended to glide over them with a fully charged Lumenstone, land next to the Oozing Concretion, and remove it as quickly as possible. Doing so will weaken the Rifthounds and make them easier to defeat.
After this, the quest objectives will lead you to the northwestern corner of the Desert of Sumeru. Continue to follow these objectives deeper into the sandstorm until a cutscene begins to play. You will then need to fight a group of Dendro enemies immediately afterward. Enter the cave to the north and prepare a team capable of defeating the Warden of the Lost Oasis boss, which you will face soon. As you progress through the cave, you will eventually reach a conversation with Apep, and later be separated from the Traveler while playing as Nahida. From there, you must run forward to the quest objective to continue the story.
Part 3: Warden of the Lost Oasis - Boss Fight
After the cutscene concludes, you'll face off against the Warden of the Lost Oasis boss, which may appear straightforward at first, but it features three stages. After defeating the boss's first stage, you must eliminate the smaller Dendro enemies to charge the Heart of the Oasis. During the third stage, you'll need to confront a stronger version of the Warden of the Lost Oasis. You should be careful of its shockwave attack and take refuge inside the igloo-shaped Dendro shields to avoid taking damage. After defeating the boss and concluding yet another dialogue with Apep, you can fast-travel to the southern part of Sumeru City and communicate with the Hydro Fungi again to finish the second part of Nahida's Story Quest.
Upon completing the second act of Nahida's Story Quest, you will be rewarded with the following items: 60 Primogems, 875 Adventure EXP, 53,900 Mora, 5 Guide to Ingenuity, 6 Hero's Wit, and 12 Mystic Enhancement Ore.
Perils in the Dark Quest in Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact, Perils In The Dark is a component of The Chasm Delvers World Quest, which is the Chasm Quest. Some players have received a message recommending that they complete Perils In The Dark before they can finish Nahida Story Quest Act 2. However, if players have finished all of their Chasm quests, they can easily teleport to the Underground Chasm without having to complete Perils In The Dark. Unfortunately, the game does not clearly inform players of this option, causing some to believe that they are missing a quest. If players haven't done Perils In The Dark prior to starting Nahida Story Quest Act 2, they must complete it to progress. Perils In The Dark involves traveling deeper into the Chasm, investigating the dark mist, activating the two bells on either side of the ruins, and defeating the Abyss Lector. As they progress through the Underground Mines, players must use the Lumenstone Adjuvant to clear the Dark Mud and destroy the Oozing Concretions.
Genshin Impact Gameplay
Genshin Impact is an action-packed open-world RPG where the player controls one of four interchangeable characters in a party. Combat is made exciting by allowing the player to switch between characters quickly, using unique combinations of skills and attacks. Players can enhance a character's strengths by leveling them up, improving artifacts, and equipping them with better weapons. The game features numerous challenges scattered throughout Teyvat that reward players with valuable resources such as defeating bosses like Stormterror and Electro Hypostasis. However, obtaining these rewards uses up resin, which slowly regenerates over time. Completing challenges increases the player's Adventure Rank, unlocking new quests and challenges while also raising the World Level, which determines the strength of enemies and the rarity of rewards.
The player has control over their character's movements, which include running, climbing, swimming, and gliding, although the character's stamina limits these actions. Certain characters possess special abilities that allow them to manipulate the environment, such as creating an ice path by freezing water to aid traversal. The world contains several teleportation nodes for fast travel, including Statues of the Seven that can heal and revive characters, and enhance player stamina. While exploring, players can gather various resources such as food, ore, and other materials that can enhance character strength, either by increasing their level or equipping weapons with better stats.
