Introducing Palia update 0.167! This latest update brings a charming addition known as the Maji Market, along with a fresh emote, novel items, and an array of other enhancements. In accordance with the patch notes, the Maji Market will grace us for approximately one month, operating from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. in accordance with Palia time. Immerse yourself in captivating fireworks displays, savor delectable treats, and engage in entertaining minigames to earn tickets.
All the while, you can complete your stamp card to unlock new prizes and reap exciting rewards. Even if you find yourself wandering through the Maji Market after its official hours, fret not! Fishing and mingling with fellow night owls will still be at your disposal. But that's not all; this update also introduces a fresh Sitting emote, offering a novel way to unwind in the company of your pals.
Furthermore, anticipate the arrival of additional Found Item Quests, fresh Decor Items for your homestead, and revisions to the gathering and crafting systems, elevating the gratification of high-level hunting pursuits. New Event: Maji Market
Get ready for a cozy night filled with paper lanterns, fireworks, and Chapaa ice pops. Maji Market is the very first event to appear in the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, a special location in Kilima Valley that is only open during festivals. This mini-area has transformed into a vibrant night market, complete with food stalls, prizes, and fireworks show.
The Maji Market event runs from August 29 until September 26, 2023. While you can visit the Fairgrounds at any time of day, the Maji Market is only open from 6pm to 3pm in-game time (the day cycle which occurs within Palia).
New Emote: Sitting
Prepare yourself for an incredible new feature... sitting. All jokes aside, you can now Emote into a cross-legged sitting position in Palia, perfect for posing for a picnic or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of Kilima Valley.
To equip the Sit emote, visit your Collections menu by pressing "P". You should now find the Sit emote in your Emotes Collections tab.
New: Found Item Quests Added
Though Main Quests may still be a work in progress for the open beta, there is still plenty of questing to do in Palia. Six more "Found Item Quests" have been added with this new patch.
Found Item Quests are a type of Discovery Quest, but unlike other quests, you pick up these from discovering random items in the world rather than from an NPC. Whether fishing or exploring, you might come across these new Quest Items. Suss out who they belong to and help return the items to their rightful owners!

Adjusted: Jina Level 3 Friendship Quest
Stuck on the second riddle for Jina's Level 3 Friendship quest? If want to try to riddle this one out for yourself, you can now talk with one of the Galdurs (Einar or Hekla) for an extra hint for where you could find a clue that has a "thirst for something more".
