In this game, you play as a high school student who comes back to his home city ten years after his parents died in a car crash. The main character can summon something called a Persona, which is like a manifestation of his inner spirit. Together, they have to fight Shadows and solve the mystery of the Dark Hour.
Fans of the Persona series really wanted a remake of Persona 3, especially after the success of Persona 5. Atlus, the game developers, officially said they heard the fans and started working on Reload in 2019. They announced the game in June 2023, after first talking about it in April 2023.
Reload keeps the original Persona 3 story but makes it look and work better. The characters got new designs by Azusa Shimada, and Shigenori Soejima made sure everything looked good.
