Persona 3 Reload
Persona 3 Reload is a video game made by Atlus. It's a redo of Persona 3, which came out in 2006. Persona 3 Reload is the fourth main game in the Persona series, which is part of a bigger series called Megami Tensei. You can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It came out on February 2, 2024.
The story is about a high school student who moves back to his hometown ten years after his parents died in a car crash. He discovers he can summon a Persona, which is like a superhero version of himself. He joins a group called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, who also have Personas. They work together to fight Shadows and figure out what's going on during something called the Dark Hour.
Fans really wanted a remake of Persona 3, especially after Persona 5 became popular worldwide. Atlus knew about this and started making Reload in 2019. They officially announced the game in June 2023, but there were rumors about it before that in April 2023.
Reload sticks closely to the original Persona 3 story but updates the graphics and gameplay to be more like the newer Persona games. Shigenori Soejima helped with new character designs, and Atsushi Kitajoh made new music for the game. Some songs even have vocals by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice. Critics liked Persona 3 Reload. They said good things about the game.
Persona 3 Reload Gameplay
Persona 3 Reload keeps the main parts of the original game but makes big changes to how it looks and plays. It takes a lot from Persona 5, which came out in 2016, to improve things like how you move around and see information.
Now, when you're playing, you'll see what you need to do to move the story forward. This helps keep you on track. The map you use to get around is better too. It's bigger and shows more details about where you are. Plus, it marks important places you need to go, just like in Persona 5.
You'll have more to do when you're not fighting Shadows too. In the dorm where your character lives, you can talk to everyone who lives there, cook in the kitchen, take care of plants, watch movies, and read books. Doing these things will make your character better at certain skills, which helps with other parts of the game.
In school, the questions from teachers are all new, and you can explore the school and other places from a better view. You can also fast-travel to places you've been before, making it easier to get around.
The way you make friends and build relationships is different too. You can't completely break off friendships like you could before, but you can still mess things up if you're not careful. There are also new side stories for characters who didn't have as much to do in the original game.
When you're fighting in Tartarus, the dungeon in the game, things are a bit different too. Your party won't get tired anymore, and there are new things to find and break to get items.
In battles, you have more control over what your party does, and the way fights look and feel is more like Persona 5. You can even pass your turn to someone else if you knock down an enemy, which helps with teamwork. Plus, you get to pick what reward you want after battles instead of it being random like before.
