Here's a step-by-step walkthrough to help you navigate through Sun-Speckled Terrace and find all the treasures:
Gathering Pikmin
Once you arrive, gather your Pikmin from the Onion and start by collecting the scattered red pellets around the area. Remember that larger pellets will require more Pikmin to carry.
Defeating Enemies
While collecting pellets, you'll encounter your first bug-like enemy. Overwhelm it with Pikmin and Oatchi, your trusty dog-like companion, to defeat it.
Using Oatchi's Abilities
Captain Shepherd will explain Oatchi's search functions. Hold 'Y' to bring up the command menu, and you can choose between picking up general scents in the area or sniffing out Castaways and Treasures.
Breaking Down Barriers
Command Oatchi to pick up a scent, and he'll find a barrier that needs to be taken down. Use your Pikmin to clear the path. Once past the barrier, you'll find the entrance to the Last-Frost Cavern. The game suggests bringing 10 Pikmin down to the cavern, and no time mechanic applies inside.
Flarlic Upgrade #1
After completing the cavern, feed the discovered Onion (Flarlic) to the original Onion. This will increase the number of Pikmin you can lead by 10.
Oatchi's Training

Jump up the low brick walls to access the entrance to the Industrial Maze located underground.

Complete the Industrial Maze and gather raw materials to mend clay bridges. Unlock Yellow Pikmin by freezing the water with 30 Ice Pikmin or using the Ice Blast prototype.
