Who is PJ Harvey?
Polly Jean Harvey, born on October 9, 1969, is an English singer-songwriter known for her skills in vocals, guitar, and various instruments. She began her career in 1988 with Automatic Dlamini and later formed PJ Harvey in 1991, releasing acclaimed albums like Dry and Rid of Me.
After the trio disbanded, Harvey continued as a solo artist, collaborating with musicians like John Parish, Rob Ellis, Mick Harvey, and Eric Drew Feldman. She has released ten studio albums since 1995, working extensively with producer Flood. Harvey has received numerous accolades, including two Mercury Prizes for Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea and Let England Shake. She holds eight Brit Award nominations, eight Grammy Award nominations, and three Rolling Stone awards.
Rolling Stone recognized her albums Rid of Me, To Bring You My Love, and Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea among the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2011, she made history as the only artist to win the Mercury Prize twice. Harvey received an MBE in the 2013 Birthday Honors for her outstanding contribution to music, and in 2011, she was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the NME Awards.

PJ Harvey reveals North American Tour for 2024
PJ Harvey has officially announced her North American tour for Fall 2024, supporting her latest album "I Inside the Old Year Dying." The tour kicks off on September 11th in Washington, DC, and includes stops in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, and concludes in Los Angeles on October 14th. To coincide with the tour news, PJ Harvey has released a new music video for "Seem an I," directed by Colm Bairéad and featuring British actor Ruth Wilson. The video was filmed at Kennel Farm outside of Salisbury, England.
