Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red Version are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak.  They were published by Nintendo for the platform Game Boy. These famous games are the first installments of the Pokémon video game series. They were first released in Japan in 1996 as Pocket Monsters Green and Pocket Monsters Red with the special edition Pocket Monsters Blue being released in the same year. The Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red were released in North America and Australia in 1998. In Europe, they got released in 1999.
