The new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet update, called the Indigo Disk Pokedex, is out now! It's got both new and familiar pocket monsters for players. This update came out on December 13, and fans are really excited about jumping into Part 2 of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
This Area Zero adventure is a paid add-on that comes in two parts. Part 1, known as "The Teal Mask," first came out on September 13, 2023. It took players on a trip to Kitakami, where they experienced village celebrations, met new and returning pocket monsters, and even stumbled upon Ogerpon. The second part continues the adventure at the Blueberry Academy and its special Terarium.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are games that came out in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. They're the first games in the ninth set of Pokémon games. These games are different because they happen in a place called the Paldea region, which is like the Iberian Peninsula and has a big open world.

There are 112 new Pokémon in these games, including new starters like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, and two legendary ones, Koraidon and Miraidon, who can help you travel around. They also have new forms for some Pokémon, like the Paradox ones and "convergent evolution" Pokémon that look like other ones but are totally different.
You can even let your Pokémon wander around the world and fight other wild Pokémon automatically! Plus, you can team up with three friends for co-op play. One super cool thing is the Terastal thing that makes Pokémon look crystalline and changes their type. It's like they get special moves matching their new type, which is pretty awesome.

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players start as new Pokémon trainers in the Paldea region. The story kicks off as they embark on a journey to become Pokémon Champions. Along the way, they meet Professor Cypress, who guides them and gives them their first Pokémon.
As players explore the open-world Paldea region, they encounter Team Umbra, a mysterious group causing trouble and aiming for something big. Throughout the adventure, players aim to stop Team Umbra's plans while challenging Gym Leaders, and powerful trainers, and unravelling the mysteries behind the legendary Pokémon, Koraidon, and Miraidon. The journey is filled with friendships, battles, discoveries, and the ultimate goal of becoming the region's Champion while ensuring peace in Paldea.
