CNN Announces It Will Debut New Morning Show
The network on Thursday revealed a new marquee morning schedule that will debut after this year, landed by stars Poppy Harlow, Don Lemon, and Kaitlan Collins. The show will return to “New Day,” which circulates from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET. It will have a new name, design, and set, CNN said.“New Day” anchors John Berman and Brianna Keilar will persist to anchor their show until the new schedule debuts. They will then be allocated new anchor functions at the network, CNN stated. The major programming shake-up was announced by CNN chief executive Chris Licht, who took over as head of the network in May. In current weeks, Licht has started to put his stamp on the network’s programming, with the statement of the new morning showing his most significant move to date.
