Additionally, there was a recent post from the PUBG Support team stating that the live server maintenance for consoles had begun and was estimated to take 8 hours to complete. PUBG Wiki
PUBG: Battlegrounds, once known as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, is a game where up to 100 players skydive onto an island, hunt for weapons and gear, and try not to get knocked out while taking down others. The game's map shrinks as time passes, pushing everyone closer together until one person or team stands as the last survivor.
It came out first for PCs in 2017 and later for Xbox, PlayStation, mobile devices, and other platforms. Even though it had some tech issues, critics liked its fresh gameplay suitable for all skill levels, and how it kept drawing players back in. PUBG became a huge deal, inspiring other similar games and winning awards left and right. It's sold millions of copies and raked in a whopping $13 billion in revenue worldwide, making it one of the most successful video games ever.

PUBG Gameplay
PUBG is a game where you compete against up to 100 other players to be the last one standing. You start by parachuting onto one of eight maps, each with its own size and landscape. As soon as you land, it's a race to find weapons, armor, and other gear in buildings and other spots across the map. The game's twist? The play area keeps getting smaller, forcing everyone closer together and making encounters more likely.
If you get caught outside this shrinking safe area, you'll take damage and might get knocked out of the game. To spice things up, random parts of the map get bombed, pushing players to move and find safer spots. There are also loot drops by planes that players can chase, adding more excitement to the hunt for gear. Each game typically lasts around 30 minutes, and how well you do gets you in-game money to buy cool looks for your character or weapons. They even have special events that mix up the rules, like bigger teams or changing where gear appears on the map.
