In the latest patch notes for the June 26th, 2023 update, several exciting changes have been implemented in Ragnarok Online. One significant update is the enhancement of the raid function, aiming to improve coordination and leadership within guilds during multiplayer gameplay. With this update, the team leader now has the ability to convert their team into a raid, allowing for a substantial increase in the maximum number of players from 5 to 40.
A raid can now consist of up to 8 teams, and the raid leader, along with the team leaders, occupy prominent positions in the raid and team information. This new feature empowers the raid leader to manage and organize the raid's personnel efficiently, facilitating the reassignment of members among different teams and granting them the authority to command each team effectively.

Raid
To better command and lead the guild's multiplayer gameplay, we have updated the raid function. The team leader can convert their team into a raid, expanding the maximum number of players from 5 in a team to 40 in a raid.
A raid can consist of up to 8 teams, with the raid leader and team leaders occupying the top positions in the raid and team information.
The raid leader has the ability to edit the raid's personnel, reassign members among different teams, and command each team. They can also send a ready check to each team to ensure proper deployment.

- Content: During the event period, the drop rate of cards obtained from monsters in the wild will be increased to triple of the original drop rate.

- Content: Participate in Cat Hand Caravan and enjoy three times rewards during the event.

Adjustments

- Battle of Yggdrasil now has an increased drop rate for Reaction Stones.
- Now there is a chance to receive Reaction Stones from Demon Treasure.
- The weight of Spirit Dew has been reduced to 0.

Choosing the Right Class in Ragnarok Origin: A Guide
Starting Out:
Every player begins as a normal adventurer class, equipped with basic skills to get started. At level 10, during the tutorial, you can choose your first class transition, which is a significant decision as the game offers diverse classes. Here's a brief description of each class and their basic role:
- Swordsman > Knight > Lord's Knight (Tank, DPS)
- Acolyte > Priest > High Priest (Healer)
- Wizard > Wizard > High Wizard (DPS)
- Thief > Assassin > Assassin Cross (DPS)
- Trader > Blacksmith > Blacksmith (DPS, Trader)
- Archers > Hunters > Snipers (DPS)
Choosing a class depends on your preferred playstyle. It's recommended to start with the easiest class to gain initial experience.
Increasing Statistics Effectively:
After selecting your class, the next step in character development is to increase your stats. As you level up, you receive attribute points to invest in improving your character's stats. However, not all classes require every stat. Depending on your class and desired role, it's best to focus on no more than three stats. For example:
- Swordsman can be built as a tank by investing most points into VIT.
- By putting points into STR, DEX, and AGI, a Swordsman can become a decent DPS class.
If you feel you made a mistake in allocating stats, you can reset your attributes using Reset Stones, though subsequent resets will require Catnip payment.
Farming and Leveling Up in Ragnarok Origin:
To level up in Ragnarok Origin, you need to earn enough experience points. You can achieve this by completing main and side quests or hunting in the field. Unlike other games, auto-battle grinding is limited in this game. Each player has 120 minutes of battle stamina, which depletes during combat. Once depleted, you won't receive rewards from hunting until your stamina replenishes.
MVP and Mini Hunt:
MVP and Mini hunts are crucial for obtaining rare items. MVPs and Minis are powerful boss enemies that grant valuable loot upon defeat. MVP hunts require a party due to their difficulty. Keep in mind that there is a daily limit of 5 MVP and Mini kills per player. Any kills beyond this limit won't yield additional items or loot. You can check the spawn zones and timers for all MVPs via the event menu.
Ragnarok Gameplay
Ragnarok Online is heavily influenced by Norse mythology, featuring characters and stories from Ragnarök. The gameplay takes place in a 3D environment, with player characters represented by 2D sprites for different facings.
The game supports various types of server gameplay, including Player vs Environment, Guild vs Guild, and Player vs Player. Other scenarios, such as Group vs Group, Arena Combat, Player vs Monster, Player vs All, and specific instances, are also available.
Players can sign up for quests, complete them for rewards, and access storage and teleport services for a fee. Each town has its own stores and shops where players can buy and sell items. The goods available in each city are tailored to the job affiliated with that particular city. Quests often provide unique rewards, such as learning new skills or obtaining rare items.
The job system initially consisted of 13 classes but has expanded to over 50 through updates. Each class specializes in specific skills, similar to role-playing game archetypes. Different equipment is exclusive to particular classes, with their effectiveness depending on the character's attributes.
Once a player reaches level 99 and job level 50, they can choose to "rebirth" their character (except for expansion classes and Super Novices). Rebirthing resets the character's levels to 1 but grants access to a new second job class.
Transcended job classes, available only to reborn characters, have more skills and additional stat points to allocate compared to regular second classes. Transcendent job characters face a higher experience curve. Players also have the option to advance to third classes, which unlock a new set of skills and allow the player to surpass the traditional level cap of 99.
