Rainbow Six Siege update time

On March 7th, 2023, the highly anticipated Y8S1 patch will be deployed at 14:00 UTC for PC gamers across multiple platforms, including Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. This patch includes a range of exciting new features and improvements that gamers have been eagerly awaiting.

One of the most significant changes in this patch is that Xbox and PlayStation users will receive the update at the same time as PC users, also at 14:00 UTC. This move is a departure from previous patches, which were usually rolled out first to PC users and then to console users at a later date. This change aims to provide a more consistent experience for all gamers, regardless of the platform they use.

As with all major patches, the servers will go down for an hour to allow the patch to be deployed smoothly. Players are advised to log out of their accounts before the scheduled maintenance time to avoid any data loss or unexpected disconnections. Once the servers come back online, players can log back in and experience the new features and improvements in Y8S1.

ARGUS CAMERA

• The camera won’t pierce the surface automatically.
• The piercing action can only be initiated by Zero and only when controlling a deployed Argus Camera.
• Once the camera has pierced a surface, any living attacker can swap sides.

WEAPON BALANCE

WEAPON RELOAD SYSTEM

• If you interrupt the reload animation after the magazine is removed the weapon will remain without a magazine until the animation is completed.
• The ammunition is available once the magazine is attached to the weapon.
• If the weapon uses a closed bolt system, a bullet will remain in the chamber, if a reload of a partially spent magazine is interrupted. You can shoot this bullet at any time.

• Horizontal recoil: Reduction of 35% (from 15%).
