What is Resident Evil 4 Remake?
Capcom's latest release, Resident Evil 4 Remake, is a modernized version of the classic 2005 game, Resident Evil 4. It has been built from the ground up using the RE Engine, resulting in vastly improved visuals and a plethora of gameplay enhancements, including a parry system and updated controls, making it just as thrilling to play as the original. Players assume the role of Leon S. Kennedy, a U.S. government agent tasked with infiltrating a rural Spanish village to rescue the President's daughter, but things take a turn for the worse when it's discovered that the entire village has been taken over by parasitic organisms, along with indications of a cult-like leader who poses a threat to the world.
RE4 Remake Button Puzzle
To progress through Chapter 4 of the campaign in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, players must solve a button puzzle that consists of two parts. The first part is located in the Small Cave Shrine, behind the North-East door. Look out for sets of markings on the cave walls with yellow paint to find the puzzle. To unlock the door, players must press the symbols in any order: a set of three parallel waves, an inverted "W" shaped bend, and a sign resembling three helices merged at the center.
The second part of the puzzle is located in the Large Cave Shrine, behind the South-West door. To find it, look for similar markings on the cave walls with yellow paint. To unlock the path forward, players must press the symbols in any order: an inverted "W" with a protrusion facing downwards (similar to the previous solution), a pair of broken signs opposite to each other, and two separate symbols adjacent each other - one resembling a bulb and the other a helix. Remember that this symbol has two signs in the same horizontal plane. With these solutions in mind, players can progress through the button puzzle and continue their journey in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
