Proceed to explore the outer edges of the map. There, you will encounter a toxic fog. This fog hides a crucial location.
Keep an eye out for the jagged edge of the map, just before the area depicted in the image of the Engineer item on the map. This indicates that you are close to the unlocking spot.
Once you've identified the right area, bravely venture into the toxic fog. Look for a ledge that you can jump across.
On the other side of the ledge, you will come across the lifeless body of a Technician. Search the Technician's corpse and acquire their armor set.
After grabbing the Technician's armor, take a sharp left from the corpse's location. There, lying on the ground by itself, you'll find the Alien Device.
Interact with the Alien Device to activate it. Upon doing so, you will successfully unlock the Engineer Archetype.
By following these steps, you will have gained access to the Engineer Archetype in Remnant 2. Now, you can make use of powerful turrets to your advantage and excel in combat as an Engineer
