Assisted Mode:

In Assisted Mode, players receive various advantages such as an Assault Rifle, more ammo when combining items, and additional inventory slots. Aim Assist will be available and zombies will be weaker. Additionally, players will recover their health automatically over time.

Standard Mode:

Standard Mode is the normal game mode with no additional advantages or disadvantages. Players must rely on their skills and abilities to survive in this mode.

Hardcore Mode:

In Hardcore Mode, enemies are stronger and more challenging to defeat. Ammo and other items are less available, and players will receive less ammo when combining items. It is not possible to change the difficulty level during a Hardcore playthrough.

Nightmare Mode:

Nightmare Mode is unlocked after completing the game on Hardcore difficulty. Enemies in this mode deal significantly more damage and are much harder to kill. Players will find enemies and items placed in different areas throughout the game. It is not possible to change the difficulty level during a Nightmare playthrough.

Inferno Mode:

In Inferno Mode, players face the most challenging gameplay experience. This mode is unlocked after completing the game on Nightmare difficulty. Enemies in this mode deal even more damage than in Nightmare and are even harder to kill. Auto-saving is disabled in this mode, and ammo and other items are significantly more scarce. Resident Evil 3 Walkthrough tips 

1. Raccoon City Walkthrough:

• Leave Jill Valentine's flat and head to the rooftop parking lot.
• Meet Carlos and restore power to the substation.
• Bring the trains online in the subway office and lure Nemesis away.

2. Sewers Walkthrough:

• Escape the sewers and locate the lab.
• Evade Nemesis while navigating through the sewers.
• Defeat Nemesis in your first encounter and return to the subway station to reach the subway platform.

3. Police Station Walkthrough:

• Find Dr. Bard and break through the shower room wall.
• Exit the subway tunnel and head towards the police station.
• Defeat Nemesis in your second encounter.

4. Hospital Walkthrough:

• Find the vaccine and locate the tape player and hospital ID card.
• Find the audiocassette tape and give Jill the vaccine sample.
• Head to the underground facility to progress the game.

5. Underground Facility Walkthrough:

• Restore the elevator power and locate the fuse, flash drive, and culture sample.
• Find the solution for the vaccine base temperature.
• Escape the facility and defeat Nemesis in the final encounter to take back the vaccine.

Resident Evil 3 Walkthrough tricks  

1. Don't worry about ammo and shoot everything

• Use ammo and gunpowder without hesitation
• More enemies this time, so spray and pray approach is more practical for crowd control
• Staggering zombies helps keep them at a distance

2. Use down time to rinse out areas and collect everything you can carry

• Backtrack and collect as much ammo and gear as possible
• Do supply runs to the Item Box
• Enemies appear only when entering a new area or triggering the next stage of an objective

3. Watch your space and be careful where you dodge

• Jill's quick step move is great for managing distance and space
• Be careful not to lose track of where you are
• With increased enemy count, finding yourself with your back against the wall suddenly can be dangerous

4. Take care with crowds to avoid being mobbed

• Avoid getting too close when the numbers are high
• Hammering X to escape won't avoid damage, just lessen it
• It'll also be easier to aim from a distance

5. Kite zombies around to make space, or kill more in one go

• Use dodge move to lead zombies around
• Try to bunch them up to kill as many as possible at once
• Even with basic gunfire, move your targets into one area to reduce the need to monitor and aim in several directions

6. Don’t be afraid to take on the nemesis and down him at least once for an upgrade
