Rust August 2023 Update
In the latest Rust update video on August 4th, 2023, presented by Shadowfrax, several exciting features and improvements were introduced to the game.
Firstly, the Wounded Update is now live, providing players with more information about their chances of recovery after getting knocked down. The wounded screen now includes additional UI elements that display factors like hydration and calories, which influence the probability of recovery. Players will also see a timer indicating how long they have until recovery or death, allowing better coordination with teammates.
The update also brings the long-awaited Chat Emoji System to Rust. Players can now use emojis in the chat, adding a new level of communication and expression. Server owners and players have the option to manage emojis, and players can individually disable emojis via the User Interface menu.
