After winning the election, Florence tries to keep Sentinelle occupied with a challenging case, thinking he can't solve it due to his past mistakes. Sentinelle becomes interested in collaborating with Sorcier, a musician he admires, taking his attention away from the case.
Frustrated by Sentinelle's distraction, Morisset, his former partner, lashes out at him and is fired. Sentinelle decides to locate Sorcier but discovers him and Rayane dead. He calls Morisset, who goes to Internal Affairs and exposes Sentinelle's career failings. Florence and Sentinelle ultimately have a showdown, leading to Florence's death and Sentinelle's arrest by Internal Affairs. In the end, Morisset takes over as captain, while Sentinelle starts a private investigation agency, embracing his unique presence despite his flaws as a cop and musician.

Sentinelle 2023 Movie Plot
The movie begins with a scene where Sentinelle's partner, Morisset, is chasing a dangerous criminal who committed a murder. Morisset is trying to guide Sentinelle by giving him street names and locations, but Sentinelle is having a hard time following the directions. He keeps going in circles and missing all the meeting points Morisset mentions.
Things take a turn for the worse when Morisset gets shot in the leg. Despite all the chaos, Sentinelle tells Morisset to forget about catching the criminal and go home. However, fate intervenes, and Sentinelle accidentally hits the criminal with his car, leading to his arrest. Instead of putting him in jail, Sentinelle's boss calls him to work on a music video shoot.
Surprisingly, Sentinelle even gives a role to the criminal in the video, which doesn't end well for him. The criminal threatens the female lead in the video and escapes. Sentinelle tries to shoot him but accidentally hits three innocent people, while the criminal manages to get away safely.
Later, Sentinelle is summoned to President Florence's house, where he receives troubling news. Florence is facing a tough election, and her opponent, Chakravarty, has a strong chance of winning due to allegations of corruption and a history of slavery in her family. A group called 'Red Arm' has sent a threatening video message, putting Florence's life in danger. Now, Florence wants Sentinelle to investigate this threat as a top priority.

He often makes bizarre decisions like replacing actors with criminals he arrests and singing during stakeouts, leading to mishaps like suspects getting murdered and crime scenes being contaminated.
Surprisingly, François isn't the only clumsy cop on the force; his colleagues share his ineptitude, except for Morisset, played by Raphaël Quenard, who takes his job seriously. When President Florence's husband is kidnapped, Morisset leads the investigation, but François's antics only make things more complicated. "Sentinelle" is full of humor and surprises, from witty comebacks to hilarious mishaps, creating a manic and infectious energy. The film's success lies in its dedication to making you laugh, with Cohen and Bercot delivering standout performances that perfectly complement the zany humor.
