The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

"The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch in 2023. It serves as the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, released in 2017. Tears of the Kingdom builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, retaining the open-world environment of Hyrule while expanding it to facilitate more vertical exploration. The game centers around Link's mission to assist Princess Zelda in thwarting Ganondorf's plan to destroy Hyrule.

The concept for Tears of the Kingdom originated when the ideas for downloadable content (DLC) for Breath of the Wild surpassed the scope initially envisioned. Nintendo's Entertainment Planning & Development (EPD) division spearheaded the development, with Hidemaro Fujibayashi, the director of Breath of the Wild, and producer Eiji Aonuma reprising their roles. A teaser for the game was unveiled at E3 2019, followed by a comprehensive reveal at E3 2021. Despite its initial target release year of 2022, Tears of the Kingdom faced delays and eventually launched in May 2023.

The game has garnered widespread acclaim for its numerous enhancements, including the expanded open world that encourages players to engage in exploration and experimentation. Since its release in May 2023, Tears of the Kingdom has surpassed 10 million units sold, solidifying its commercial success."

Sinakawak Shrine Walkthrough

The Sinakawak Shrine provides instructions on how to utilize balloons for lifting materials to higher locations and reaching greater heights.

  1. Descend the shrine's stairs and notice two balloons on the left side, as well as a blocked balloon on the right due to a platform.
  2. Obtain a wooden pallet from the left side and attach it to the lower part of the right balloon using Ultrahand.
  3. Move your balloon creation to the left side to avoid obstruction from the platform.
  4. Step onto the wooden pallet and affix the candle from your right to the inside of the balloon's basket. This will enable you to ascend to the next floor.
  5. Ride the balloon contraption to reach the subsequent floor.
  6. Retrieve the balloon you used to ascend using Ultrahand or combine a torch and a balloon using the available materials on this floor.
  7. Place the balloon at the gate and release it to hit the button positioned above the gate.
  8. Proceed to the next room where you will encounter crisscrossed pathways elevated above the ground.
  9. Glide down to the floor and locate several balloons, a ball, and a few torches on the left side of the room.
  10. Attach the ball to the balloon's basket and affix the torch to the top of the ball using Ultrahand. If you encounter difficulty assembling the balloon, you can also attach a wooden platform to the basket's bottom for additional workspace.
  11. Allow the balloon to ascend to the top of the room and walk towards the right side of the ground floor. There, you will find another balloon, a large ball, and four flame emitters.
  12. Deactivate one of the flame emitters by triggering it, then attach it to the inside of the balloon's basket using Ultrahand.
  13. Attach the large ball to the bottom of the balloon's basket using Ultrahand.
  14. Activate the flame emitter and let the balloon rise to the top of the room.
  15. Ascend to the upper floor, where you will encounter two pits in the ground—one large and one small.
  16. Position the balloons above their respective holes. If you encounter difficulty grabbing the balloons, ascend to the crisscrossed pathways and retrieve them from a higher position.
  17. Detach the large ball from its balloon and drop it into the large hole. This action will open the gate that was blocking access to the chest. Open the treasure chest to obtain an opal.
  18. Return to the previous room with the balloons.
  19. Separate the smaller ball from its balloon to open the final gate. Interact with the sigil to successfully complete the shrine.

Sinakawak Shrine Gameplay

"Tears of the Kingdom" continues the open-world action-adventure style of "Breath of the Wild." Players control Link as he explores Hyrule, including new areas called the Sky Islands and the Depths. The game involves finding weapons, resources, and completing quests. Players can explore by walking, running, riding horses, climbing, and using a paraglider.

One new feature in the game is the introduction of Zonai devices, which are technological tools that aid in combat, propulsion, and exploration. The previous game's runes are replaced with five new powers: Ultrahand, Fuse, Ascend, Recall, and Autobuild. Ultrahand allows players to pick up and move objects, as well as attach them together to create various constructs and vehicles with the Zonai devices. Fuse lets Link combine materials, equipment, or objects to enhance the attributes and durability of shields and weapons. Autobuild recreates a previously crafted device instantly, but it requires zonatite. Ascend enables the player to move upwards through solid surfaces, while Recall allows objects to be "rewound" in their movement.

Shrines and Korok Seeds make a return. Clearing Shrines grants players a Light of Blessing, and collecting four of them allows Link to increase his heart count or expand his stamina wheel. Korok Seeds can be used to expand Link's inventory capacity for melee weapons, shields, and bows. The Gloom, a new threat, can be encountered in the Depths and near deep craters. When in these areas or attacked by enemies covered in the gloom, Link suffers continuous damage and cannot heal lost hearts until returning to the Surface to regain maximum health.

Sinakawak Shrine Guide

This Shrine revolves around the Balloon Zonai device, which essentially functions as a hot air balloon. By introducing heat beneath the balloon, it will ascend into the air. It's worth noting that the room contains multiple lit candles that can be manipulated using the Ultrahand.

  • To begin, position a flat wooden board on the floor and affix a Balloon to its top. Apply a candle or another source of fire beneath the Balloon to initiate its upward movement. You can then employ the Paraglider to glide to the higher level.
  • Above the door in the subsequent area, there is a switch. To activate it, you must position a Balloon beneath the switch and supply it with a flame so that it ascends and strikes the switch, consequently unlocking the door.
  • Within the following room, there is both a small and a large puzzle orb that needs to be elevated to reach the next floor. Although only the small puzzle orb is required to complete the shrine, if you seek an additional challenge, you can employ the same strategy for the large puzzle orb and a chest.
  • Once again, construct a Balloon using a flat wooden board as the base. Simply attach the small puzzle orb, and as the Balloon reaches a sufficient height, toss the puzzle orb over to the upper level. Finally, insert the puzzle orb into the corresponding slot to successfully conclude this Shrine.
