In Skull and Bones, there's a treasure hidden at Fort Louis. To find it, you first need to get a treasure map from a Sea People Merchant at Vorona Falls. This usually happens when you're doing the Brokered Ground contract.
Once you have the map, you can check it in your ship's cargo menu. Look for the clue called Sea People Relic Clue. It'll show you a map and give you some hints about where to find the treasure. The clue talks about a camp that got raided by the Fara at Red Isle on Tenina Coast, near Fort Louis. It says the Sea People left their stuff there, including the relic they're looking for.
When you're ready to go treasure hunting, head south from Sainte-Anne until you reach Tenina Coast. There, you'll find Fort Louis. Dock your ship there and start exploring. Walk around the fort until you see a small wreckage next to the wall. Approach it, and you'll notice a ray of light shining down. That's where you need to dig! Press the right button when prompted, depending on what you're playing on (like F on PC, triangle on PS5, or Y on Xbox). You'll then uncover the buried treasure, which includes the Sea People Relic.
Once you've got the relic, sail over to Palisade Bay to deliver it. Palisade Bay isn't too far from where you started at Vorona Falls. When you get there, interact with the settlement, and you'll complete the contract and get your reward. And that's how you find the treasure at Fort Louis in Skull and Bones!

Skull and Bones Development
Skull and Bones began its journey in 2013 as Ubisoft Singapore's inaugural project, inspired by the naval battles of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Originally envisioned as an expansion to Black Flag and later as an MMO spinoff titled Black Flag Infinite, technical limitations prompted its evolution into a standalone venture.
Development encountered significant hurdles, including changes in setting from the Caribbean to Hyperborea before finally settling on the Indian Ocean. Gameplay underwent multiple revisions, shifting focus from naval exploration to land-based survival elements influenced by games like Rust. Budgetary issues and management challenges plagued the project, with costs exceeding $120 million.
Announced at E3 2017, Skull and Bones faced a series of delays, with its release initially slated for 2018. A "new vision" emerged in September 2020, leading to further development time and involvement from additional Ubisoft studios, such as Ubisoft Berlin. Despite subsequent delays, including a closed beta in August 2023, the game's release date was ultimately set for February 16, 2024, after a series of rescheduled launch dates.
