Setting the Scene: In Megacity S1-9, ruled by the Sovereign Khan, a vengeful warrior seeks to murder him. Beneath the city's foundations, a secret group called The Guardians aims to stop the use of horrific living machines known as Slaves in warfare.
The Protagonist's Journey: Four years before the events of Slave Zero, players embark on a journey as the protagonist, a swordsman named Shou, driven by revenge against the Sovereign Khan. Shou's mission is to merge with a stolen Slave Unit Prototype to become a formidable opponent against the false God ruling the city.
