This movie Sleepaway Camp is surely going to keep you in fear the whole time. Because the movie and its climax are one of the best of all the horror movies released. This movie is said to have the most unexpected climax you would have ever. The story in short starts with a girl going to her summer camp. At the camp what she sees and had to undergo forms the story. Angela is the main girl we have been talking about in the above paragraph. She is a newbie, whose full name is (Felissa Rose). She came along with her cousin Ricky (Jonathan Tierstan). Ricky is said to be a little mischievous as a person. So, manager Mel(Mike Kellin) was always troubled by his behavior and wanted him to become disciplined. Later some events took place which started disturbing everyone over there.
The incidents like murder kept happening inside the campus. The entire camp is thrown into a state of panic when murders began to spread throughout the cozy huts. This kept everyone over there in a panic state and manager Mel got little suspicion about Ricky. As he used to do some other thing, his strong suspicion was thrown on Ricky. Due to the current happening around the college manager Mel has called police officer Frank to come around. He then started his investigations around, and at a later while found Rickyalive but he was unconscious at some place away. Then this confirms him not being the killer. On other hand, Ronnie and Susie were doing their search for the killer. They went in rounds to check whether they could get some other information about the mysterious person, or evidence or clue leading to the person who is a mystery.
They were searching so sincerely, and they met with Angela along with Paul. Angela arrived here to meet Paul, and they had something personal going on. Paul only had invited Angela to this place, stated Angela. But at present Paul who invited her itself is dead. So, remaining is Angela being the suspicion. Angela is said to have had a bad past where she faced many difficulties. At an earlier stage itself, she is said to have lost her father in an accident. Then she was brought up by her aunt. Her aunt Martha was the one who adopted her. She had a son already and was fond of girls. So she made ‘Angela’ a girl and raised him fully as a girl only. And later on, many incidents she faced in her life led to her believing in the wrong and making mistakes.

We all know how the story started, with Angela joining the Summer Camp with her cousin. Then many suspicious incidents followed, leading to sudden murders one by one. This made everyone shocked. The main twist that no one would have expected was ‘Angela’ is the killer of everything that has happened. This will be revealed at the climax of the film where she exposes herself after she killed Paul. And, ‘Angela’ is not a girl and she is a boy is the main twist. During the accident she faced earlier it was said she lost her brother Peter, and Angela survived. But the real truth is Angela and her father died in an accident and “Peter” alone survived it. At a later stage, being brought by her aunt Martha as a girl, “Peter” is said to have characteristics of a girl. Aunt Martha already had a son and longed for a daughter. It was that time peter came to their home and she wanted to raise Peter as a girl.

During Angela’s childhood in the year 1975, her father and brother went to a summer camp. The travel went on so smoothly until her father’s friend called him. As he was about to make the boat right, a group of teenagers came straight to the boat and hit them from nowhere. The teenagers were namely Craig and Maryanne. They both were trying to shift places at the time and as they couldn’t control themselves they went straight and hit ‘Angela’s boat’. Due to this incident both her father and the original Angela died, which was a really sad incident happened. Many years passed, and in 1983 she was bought up by her aunt Martha, and she got enrolled herself in Camp Arawak. She was accompanied by her cousin Ricky. But how getting enrolled, in the camp and the practical exams involved still stays a mystery.
