Something Corporate

Something Corporate, also known as SoCo, is a rock band from California formed in 1998. The band members include vocalist and pianist Andrew McMahon, guitarists Josh Partington and Bobby Anderson, bassist Kevin Page, and drummer Brian Ireland.

After recording demos, they released an independent album called Ready... Break. They later signed with MCA Records and released their debut EP, Audioboxer, under the Drive-Thru Records label. Their song "If You C Jordan" was a hit, reaching number 29 on the Alternative Songs chart. Their first major-label album, Leaving Through the Window, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart in 2002.

The band went on hiatus in 2004, and McMahon pursued his side project, Jack's Mannequin. They reunited briefly in 2006 and officially announced their reunion in 2009, touring in 2010 and releasing a greatest hits album. By 2010, they had sold over 1 million records.

In 2022, they surprised fans with a show for McMahon's birthday, and in 2023, they reunited again for a New Year's Eve show in Anaheim, California. Their journey showcases their enduring popularity and the impact of their music on fans over the years.
