Nintendo created and released the third-person shooter video game Splatoon 3 for the Nintendo Switch. The game features both a single-player campaign and online multiplayer (player vs player and player versus environment) like its predecessors in the Splatoon series. The video game was launched on September 8, 2022, and reviews from critics were largely positive. Splatoon 3 was one of the best-selling Switch games and the fastest-selling game in the franchise as of December 31, 2022, with global sales of 10.13 million units.
Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass Dlc Release Date
During today's Nintendo Direct show, Nintendo revealed that Splatoon 3 will receive some DLC soon. However, the Expansion Pass for the planned DLC is already on sale. The Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass is divided into two waves, the first of which, Inkopolis, will debut in the spring of 2023, or any time from late March to early June. There is currently no release date for Side Order, but in the following weeks and months, we should find out more.

Splatoon 3 Expansion Pack
The first wave of this DLC will debut in the spring and serve as your return ticket to Inkopolis (the original city from the original Splatoon game). All the weapons and equipment will be identical to those in Splitsville, so explore whichever area feels more familiar to you. This is for people who desire a change of scenery from Splitsville. Additionally, you can download a content pack with additional in-game goodies that you can use right immediately after purchasing the Expansion Pass DLC.

Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass Features
Even though Nintendo gave us a respectable glimpse of Inkopolis, there are still many things regarding the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass that we don't yet know. This DLC's inspiration comes from the first Splatoon game, and it even shares elements of its businesses, characters, and hub environment. You can purchase weapons, equipment, and extra Salmon Run and Table Turf Battle content from these businesses. The Squid Sisters, Callie, and Marie, will also perform in the central hub area.

Splatoon 3 DLC Price
Paid DLC* is coming to the Splatoon game. Inkopolis, the hub world from the first Splatoon game acting as an alternate hub world for players to hang out in between bouts and battles, will be accessible to players in Wave One. The Booyah Base, where players may purchase equipment and customize their characters, comes back as part of the Wave One DLC. There will be a mix of recognizable and new faces in the shops, but the things on offer remain the same as those in Splitsville.
