Splatoon 3 Gameplay

In Splatoon 3, players get to be Inklings or Octolings and shoot colored ink at each other. The weapons they use are pretty cool and look like regular things you'd find at home. For instance, there are big paint rollers that cover lots of ground but are better for close-up fights. Then there are sniper-like weapons that shoot from far away but don't paint as much ground.

This game adds new weapons: the main ones you choose, secondary ones that go with the main weapons, and special ones that need a lot of ink to charge up. Inklings and Octolings can turn into squids or octopuses, which helps them climb ink-covered walls and swim faster in ink. When you shoot, your ink runs out, but if you dive into the ink as a squid or octopus, you refill faster. All the old weapons from the previous Splatoon games are back in Splatoon 3.

Splatoon 3 Plot

In the game, the player joins a group called the New Squidbeak Splatoon led by an old squid named Craig Cuttlefish. They become Agent 3 and team up with a little fish called "Little Buddy." Together, they fight mutated enemies who stole something important called the Great Zapfish.

As they dig deeper into a crater, they meet Octavian enemies and a leader called DJ Octavio, who blames Cuttlefish for taking their warriors and denies taking the Zapfish. They end up in an underground city where they meet other members of the Splatoon group and realize Cuttlefish is missing.

A famous group called Deep Cut believes there's a treasure in the city and clashes with the Squidbeak Splatoon. They later discover that Mr. Grizz, the head of a company, kidnapped Cuttlefish and wants to use the Zapfish to turn everything into mammals using something called Fuzzy Ooze. After lots of battles and tricky situations, they team up with Deep Cut to stop Mr. Grizz's plan.

They find Cuttlefish, but it seems like he's been harmed. Mr. Grizz plans to use a rocket to cover the planet in Fuzzy Ooze, changing all life into mammals. The team manages to stop Mr. Grizz with a big fight. Agent 3, Little Buddy, and Octavio bring back the Zapfish, while Mr. Grizz is left floating in space.
