Splatoon 3 Plot

The thrilling storyline of Splatoon 3. Strap on your ink tanks and get ready to explore the mysterious underground city of Alterna, fight mutated Octarian enemies, and uncover the truth behind the stolen Great Zapfish.

Our adventure begins as the elderly squid, Craig Cuttlefish, leads us into a treacherous crater covered in deadly Fuzzy Ooze. It is here that we are recruited by Cuttlefish into the New Squidbeak Splatoon as Agent 3, accompanied by our trusty Salmonid companion known as "Little Buddy." Little Buddy proves invaluable as it devours and destroys portions of the hazardous ooze, allowing us to venture deeper into the crater.

Within the depths, we encounter Octarian enemies who have undergone a peculiar mutation, now adorned with fur. Cuttlefish suspects them of stealing the Great Zapfish, the power source for Splatsville. Our mission becomes clear: we must confront these fuzzy Octarians and retrieve the stolen Zapfish.

After a fierce battle with Octarian leader DJ Octavio, the ground beneath us gives way, plunging Cuttlefish and Agent 3 into the remnants of Alterna. Here, we reunite with Callie, Marie, and the Captain, protagonist of the first game. To our dismay, we discover that Cuttlefish has gone missing, and the underground city has been transformed into an Octarian base.

In Alterna, we encounter the idol group Deep Cut, who also seek treasure within the city. Suspicion and rivalry arise as we are repeatedly led to the members of Deep Cut, engaging in battles over the supposedly valuable loot. However, it soon becomes apparent that the treasure is nothing more than junk, and our true enemy reveals themselves.

Mr. Grizz, the CEO of Grizzco and organizer of Salmon Run, is responsible for kidnapping Cuttlefish, stealing the Great Zapfish, and amassing an Octarian army. His grand plan involves using the Fuzzy Ooze to convert life into mammals, intending to restore mammal dominance on Earth. This destructive scheme threatens all other forms of life.

As we overcome challenges and defeat each member of Deep Cut, it becomes clear that their intentions were noble. They aimed to sell the treasure for charity. United against the common enemy, we join forces with Deep Cut to confront Mr. Grizz.

In a moment of unexpected heroism, the Captain rehydrates Cuttlefish with their tears just as Mr. Grizz launches the rocket. With the aid of DJ Octavio and Little Buddy, who takes on the form of a colossal coho salmon known as the "Hugefry," we engage in an epic battle against Mr. Grizz and ultimately destroy the rocket.

Agent 3, Little Buddy, and Octavio return to Earth triumphant, clutching the Great Zapfish. Meanwhile, Mr. Grizz floats adrift in space, his menacing plans thwarted. As the credits roll, a sense of victory fills the air, but the ink-filled adventures of Splatoon 3 have only just begun.
