How to Recruit All Characters?
To recruit all the characters in "Star Ocean: The Second Story R," follow these detailed steps:

Celine:
- Agree to travel with her to Krosse Cave.
- She will join your party if you agree in Krosse Cave.

- Ashton cannot be recruited with Opera.
- In the town of Harley, speak to the Traveler at the entrance to learn about the twin-headed dragon.
- Return to the Salva Mines.
- Take the once-unavailable left path into the Deep Lair until you reach Ashton.
- Agree to help him with his curse, and he will join your party.

- Opera cannot be recruited with Ashton.
- After seeing the Three Eyed Man cutscene upon reaching Krosse, Opera's recruitment triggers as a Sub Event and is no longer missable.

- Back at Krosse Castle, speak to the King about the Mountain Palace.
- Travel to the Mountain Palace south of Kurik.

- Ask her to join a final time after completing the Hoffman Ruins.

- See the Three Eyed Man cutscene upon reaching Krosse City.
- Recruit Opera in the Mountain Palace.

In the game, you have the choice to play as either Claude or Rena, and the story unfolds differently based on your decisions. While there are other characters you can team up with, you can only have a maximum of six in your party at any given time. The game follows the typical RPG format, where you journey from one location to another, following the main storyline and occasionally engaging in side quests. Your characters gain strength by earning Experience Points through battles.
Battles occur in real-time, and you have direct control over your character's actions, rather than navigating through menus. You can freely move your character across the battlefield. The game offers nine distinct skill sets that you can acquire, and your characters learn these skills by using Skill Points. These skills can enhance your character's stats, unlock special abilities, or provide advantages in battles.
