The game was first announced in January 2022, and fans eagerly awaited news about its release. Then, in May 2022, the title and a stunning CGI teaser trailer were revealed at Star Wars Celebration, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement. And finally, after some delays, the game was released on April 28, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

But that's not all - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a fascinating development history. It went through several delays, with its original release date set for March 17, 2023. However, the development team pushed it back to April 28, 2023, to make sure the game was polished to perfection for its eager fans. And let's be real - a delayed game is always better than a buggy one, right?

Along the way, there were tons of teasers and trailers to keep fans hyped up. We got a cinematic teaser in May 2022, followed by a gameplay video at The Game Awards in December. And in February 2023, IGN dropped a nine-minute gameplay video that gave us a closer look at the action-packed gameplay. And then, at Star Wars Celebration on April 9, 2023, we got one final gameplay trailer that showcased the incredible planet of Coruscant.

What's more, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor marks the end of Electronic Arts' exclusivity contract with Lucasfilm. So if you're a fan of the franchise, this is a must-play game that you won't want to miss!

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Achievements and Trophy Guide

Here is a guide that will serve you for Star Wars Jedi Survivor Achievements and Trophy:-

A Brief Roadmap

"Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" is a game with an estimated trophy difficulty of 3/10 that can be completed on Story Mode/Easiest Difficulty. The platinum trophy can be achieved in approximately 40 hours on Story Mode or 50+ hours on Jedi Knight or higher difficulties. There are 54 offline trophies, with only one missable trophy, "You've Got a Friend."

However, there are four glitched trophies, including "Splurgle," which is unobtainable due to a Priorite Shard not spawning in Rambler's Reach Outpost on Koboh. The game supports free-roam after the story, and there is only one autosave.

Story about Jedi

This Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Trophy Guide is based on the game's storyline, where Jedi Cal Kestis attempts to survive the Galactic Empire's attacks. The game features new gameplay elements such as fast travel and customization options. To obtain the Platinum trophy, players need to complete the story, interact with NPCs, and scan every new enemy type with BD-1. After completing the story, players can return to clean up collectibles, combat-related and miscellaneous trophies, and reset areas at Meditation Points. The only missable trophy is "You've Got a Friend," requiring the use of each companion's ability ten times in battle.

Blaze Through the Story and Make Some Friends

In this step, focus on playing through the main story, but don't forget to interact with every NPC you come across. Some can be recruited to join you in the Cantina on Rambler’s Reach Outpost, which counts towards the Max Capacity trophy. Also, be sure to be assisted by your first story companion, Bode, 10 times to avoid missing out on the You’ve Got a Friend trophy. Lastly, scan every type of enemy you defeat to work towards the Intergalactic Geographic trophy.

Unleash Your Inner Completionist and Collect All the Things

After completing the story, your next goal is to reveal all the collectible locations on the map by finding the 4 collectible maps located on Jedha and Koboh. Then, start cleaning out every single planet’s territory to collect all Jedi Chambers, plants, fish, force tears, bounties, and legendary adversaries. By doing so, you'll not only achieve the Platinum, but also earn several other trophies such as Splurgle, Perk of the Job, Caij Match, I’m a Living Legend, and Intergalactic Geographic.

Prove Your Skills in Holotactics Matches and Wrap Up the Miscellaneous Trophies

In the final step, head back to the Cantina and play all Holotactics matches, which is a quick and easy minigame that uses the enemies you've scanned during the game as pieces for a holographic chessboard. Be sure to defeat all opponents to earn the Gambler trophy. Any remaining trophies can easily be earned using Meditation Points to reset enemies in any area.

Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor Gameplay

Here is a game play for Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor:-

Combat

  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor retains many gameplay elements from its predecessor with new additions.
  • The game features five "fully realized" stances in lightsaber combat.
  • The single blade and double blade lightsaber stances return from Fallen Order.
  • The dual-wield single blade attack from Fallen Order is now its own fully playable lightsaber stance.
  • A new, heavier Kylo Ren-style crossguard lightsaber stance is added that requires more confidence to use.
  • The blaster stance allows the player to use a lightsaber and blaster combo for both close and ranged attacks.
  • These different stances are designed to be used against specific types of enemies.
  • A new Force stasis ability, similar to Kylo Ren's, allows players to freeze enemies and blaster bolts in mid-air.

Levels

  • Jedi: Survivor features larger, more expansive maps with more NPCs than Fallen Order.
  • The planet Koboh has a dense central area with more open outskirts areas that players will revisit throughout the game, with new pathways opening up each time.
  • Revisiting planets encourages exploration and contains skills, upgrades, and perks that make Cal more powerful.
  • Fast travel is available at meditation points, but not necessary to traverse the environment or complete the story.
  • The Mantis landing pads have been moved to a more central location on planets for easier access to various regions.
  • Koboh has been described as a "home away from home".
  • Fast travel was a much-requested feature that was absent in Fallen Order.

Jedi Trials

  • Jedi Chamber Trials are scattered throughout planets for players to discover.
  • These trials have been compared to Shrines from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
  • Jedi Chamber Trials feature puzzles and challenges for the player to complete.
  • Completing these trials will provide rewards such as skill points.
  • Skill points can be used to upgrade the player's skill tree.

Custom

  • Jedi: Survivor expands player cosmetic customization options beyond ponchos in Fallen Order
  • The game allows players to customize Cal's appearance with complete outfit changes
  • Cal's hairstyles and facial hair are also customizable cosmetic items
  • IGN's February 2023 gameplay preview shows Cal opening a loot chest containing a leather bomber jacket
  • Pre-ordering the game or buying the deluxe edition unlocks the Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo outfits for Cal.
