Star Wars Jedi Survivor Walkthrough

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a continuation of the narrative from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The previous game saw Cal Kestis, the protagonist, successfully defeating the Second Sister to acquire the Holocron. However, he then encountered a notorious villain from the Star Wars franchise and ultimately destroyed the Holocron to safeguard the identities of Force-sensitive children from the Empire.

At the start of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you can choose from five different difficulty levels, each offering a distinct level of challenge. The Story Mode is the easiest, with minimal combat, while Jedi Grandmaster is the most challenging option for those who crave a formidable task. You can also adjust the difficulty level during gameplay to increase or decrease the challenge as desired. Additionally, there are accessibility options available, such as slow-mode combat and an arachnophobia mode, for those who prefer more customized gameplay experiences.

Coruscant Walkthrough: Prologue

The "Prologue" of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor begins with Cal, the game's protagonist and a wanted fugitive, being taken to face his fate by a team of enemies led by Senator Daho Sejan, who plans to deliver him to the Emperor. Coruscant, the city where Cal is being held captive, serves as a tutorial zone where players will learn the basic fight mechanics by taking down Stormtroopers.

After freeing himself with the help of his droid BD-1, Cal is tasked with pursuing the Senator's yacht, which leads to his first encounter with the game's climbing and wall movement mechanics. Meditation Points, where players can save, refill their health, and assign skill points, are introduced as a critical aspect of the game.

Players should collect as many stim canisters as they can and read up on the best lightsaber stance in the game to make the most of their skill points. As players progress through Coruscant, they will need to use a variety of game mechanics to fight Stormtroopers, navigate the city, and solve climbing puzzles. The prologue ends with a boss battle against a bot named K-405 and the introduction of the dual wield stance during a fight against the Ninth Sister.

Koboh Walkthrough: Repairing the Mantis

Get ready to explore Koboh, a planet filled with interesting characters, scary monsters, bad guys, and oversized vermin. To fully immerse yourself in this world, check out the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Koboh collectibles guide, which will reveal all of the planet's secrets as you traverse through its terrain. Upon entering Koboh, you'll overlook a massive canyon and use BD-1's visor to gather information over long distances.

Progress through caverns, platforming puzzles, and enemies until you reach a tar-filled dam. Climb the dam wall, defeat enemies, and drop into the tunnel to blast open the wall using a mining drone. Continue using these drones to breach the dam and proceed through the next area.

In the Southern Reach Meditation Point, chat with Mosey and continue to the Rambler's Reach Meditation Point to encounter a town where you'll meet Greez and watch a cutscene before battling the boss, Zeik. After the fight, head to Pyloon's Saloon, where you'll make it your home away from home and meet various side quest characters.

Greez will lead you to Smuggler's Tunnel, which will take you to an area called Collapsed Passage, where you'll use your Force abilities to move glowing orbs and meet a friendly droid named Zee. Solve the puzzle and return to Pyloon's Saloon. Head to the Forest Gate, where you'll encounter a lengthy traversal and fight various creatures like the bilemaw and mogu.

Use the lasers emitted by purple orbs to dispel bubbly substances on the ground, navigate the Forest Array area by moving orbs and environmental elements around, and use the glider to access the Central Rotational Apparatus. Free the giant creature by turning the laser and continue to fight the game's primary antagonist, Dagan Gera. Glide back to the Mantis and learn the Nekko Mount skill to grab a buddy for an express trip to Jedha, your next destination.

Jedha Walkthrough: Find Cere

Discover Cere on a Jedha walkthrough. To save time, check out the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Jedha collectibles guide. As you explore the ruins and desert area, you'll meet Merrin, who can assist you in combat. To progress, move the glowing blue block to reach a ledge. Soon, you'll face a Skriton boss in a pit with Merrin's help.

Afterward, ride the spamels across the desert until a sandstorm brings you to an enemy camp. Here, you'll battle Stormtroopers and an AT-ST, which can be countered with blocking and deflection techniques. Take a break with Merrin before journeying to the Archive to meet Cere with the help of Eno Cordova, Greez, and Bode. You can either travel to the Shattered Moon or return to Koboh to research Tanalorr, but the choice is inconsequential.

Playing through this interlude unlocks the blaster stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, granting you a gun that only reloads when enemies are hit with your lightsaber in your alternate hand.

Shattered Moon Walkthrough: Gather research

The Shattered Moon level of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is filled with challenges that require careful timing and strategy. As you traverse through the area, make sure to keep an eye out for hidden collectibles and loot by using our Shattered Moon collectibles guide. Be aware that certain rooms in this facility have numerous enemies, and the Reprogrammed Magnaguard can suddenly appear out of nowhere.

However, this boss is relatively easy to defeat if you can avoid its powerful melee attacks. Traversing through Shattered Moon requires precise timing, as you will encounter hazards like sparks on ziplines, grates, and platforms. In one particular area, you will need to use a combination of zipline jumping, wall running, grappling, and more ziplining and wall running, which might be challenging for newer players.

It's important to stay focused and keep your cool as you try to time your movements correctly. Since the next Meditation Point is far away, make sure to have some stims ready just in case. As you continue through the level, you will encounter enemies behind a wall and need to take a detour to the right, dropping you into a pit where you will face some creepy-crawlies.

After defeating them, climb the yellow grate with the help of the Lifter Bot to make your way to the back area of this room, where you can drop in on the enemies. You'll then need to ascend via platforming, grates, and grappling until you reach the next Meditation Point. Continue swinging your way through until you reach the Superstructure Fabricators, where you'll eventually arrive at a boss room.

In this room, you'll pick up the mysterious High Republic Device and face Drya Thornne. To defeat this boss, avoid their ranged attacks and use the Force to turn their attacks against them. Be sure to consult our guide to learn about the crossguard lightsaber stance, which you'll unlock by defeating Drya Thornne. After the battle, make your way through more enemies to return to the Mantis and travel back to Koboh.

Koboh Walkthrough: Gather research

To begin the Koboh walkthrough in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you need to head towards the Stone Spires, which is indicated on your holomap. If you have unlocked the Meditation Point in Riverbed Watch, you can use it as a fast travel option to reach the Stone Spires. At the waterfall in Riverbed Watch, you can hitch a ride on a glider to reach a platform across the way.

After stopping at the Igneous Fissure Meditation Point, you will encounter your first bounty hunter, Korej Lim, after a short traversal and another glider excursion. You will have to defeat him, and once you do, you will meet Caij, an Aussie-accented character who will join the Saloon crew and offer rewards in exchange for Bounty Pucks collected from bounty hunters. Climb the wall behind her, deal with the Gorocco, and glide your way to the Devastated Settlement Meditation Point.

The next part of the walkthrough involves using gliders and laser mechanics to traverse the area. The puzzle series requires you to point lasers to clear off smokestacks, allowing you to glide to otherwise unreachable areas. But first, you need to activate the lasers by getting orbs in the couplers.

This is a little tricky and requires using the BD-1 ability called the Koboh Grinder, which allows you to create paths from rock formations to the lasers to clear blocked pathways. The puzzle series requires moving orbs from several locations into the mountain couplers to clear the formations.

You can check out a separate guide to the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Koboh Grinder puzzle for help with this section.Once you complete the puzzle series, you will face a boss fight against Tague Louesh, whom you must defeat to pick up a mysterious device. Finally, return to the Mantis to complete the Koboh walkthrough.

Jedha walkthrough: Pilgrim's Sanctuary

The Jedha walkthrough in the game involves traversing the desert with Merrin, using a Spamel to cross the vast desert. Following the marked location on the map, players need to take the parkour path around the left to access the initial entryway and drop enemies along the way. They will then face a quick puzzle where they need to use the Force to move a platform and roll the ball to unlock the door, then move the platform back to give them the lift they need to cross.

Players need to fight the desert creature alongside Merrin and the Sutaban to continue. In the Sutaban room, players need to pull a glowing blue box out from behind a grate by using the pulley. The game requires players to perform significant acrobatics to ascend the mountain, but nothing is too complicated, although it may take some effort to navigate every path.

Players need to follow the path to the left once the wind rushes them and use their Force abilities to move the block to block the wind. They need to progress further, cross the spinning poles, and pull out another block to block the wind before making their way back and swinging across the poles that were previously spinning. Players need to continue battling enemies and performing acrobatics while being aware of their surroundings and using their map to avoid backtracking.

Just beyond the Crypt of Uhrma Meditation Point, players will hear the sound of a block pulsating energy block. They need to push it in to get the boost they need to cross to the following path section. Players need to continue progressing through the crypts, taking the elevator up, following the ledges around, and meeting with Merrin again.

They will reach a path gap that they can't clear, so they need to turn right and use the wind to guide them to the Singing Ruins. In the room with the platforming mini-puzzle, players need to move the block above them to block the wind to help them cross.

They need to climb this and drop back down, then follow Merrin's path, using their newfound Dash Jump ability to continue traversal. Players need to fight the Stormtroopers, squeeze through the wall path, and reach their destination. They need to make their way through Sanctuary Temple, using the vertical wall to assist them downward where needed, fighting enemies, and making their way to the barrier door and going right through the opening.

Players need to solve a series of jumping and climbing puzzles to reach an area of the ruins that requires swimming. They need to follow the lights underwater to reach their destination, where they will encounter a tricky puzzle involving pushing blocks and using pulleys to center them around the main door frame.

After a cutscene where Armeis hands off some access codes, players gain the ability to traverse through green barrier walls using their jump dash ability. They need to use this in tandem with their other skills to descend from the area, follow Merrin's lead, and fly through a series of portals in the sky. Players then need to continue across the desert to return to Cere and the others with the codes before returning to Koboh to search for a missing compass.

Koboh walkthrough: Finding the compass

Upon reaching Koboh, you'll be informed that Zee is missing and your task is to locate her inside the Lucrehulk. To reach the Gantry, which is the area where Zee is believed to be, fast travel to the Devastated Settlement Meditation Point. Glide through the canyon and use your dash abilities to break through the green barrier that was previously blocking your entry into the area. Once you've arrived at the Gantry, use BD-1 to help you find an entryway and glide your way towards it using a glider.

After landing on an island, you'll need to go underneath it to enter the Gantry. Follow the zipline course and navigate through the jumping puzzles and the Hangar Rafters. Be careful not to backtrack accidentally and use your blocking and Force abilities to deflect gunfire when facing enemies with powerful projectiles or in areas with higher concentrations of enemies.

As you progress through the area, you'll eventually meet up with Bode and get a glimpse of Zee. Beware of enemies with charged hammers and use ranged maneuvers from the blaster or dual-bladed stances to defeat them. Once you make your way through the Yurt Barracks, you'll face numerous droids that continue to spawn. Use area-of-effect combat tactics to defeat them.

While traversing the back cargo areas, you'll encounter Rayvis, head of the Bedlam Raiders, who will steal a key from you. This cutscene will grant you lift and slam abilities which will be necessary to complete various tasks in the area. Meditate at the Generator Underbelly point as needed and then use your new abilities to climb your way through the area.

Once you've made it to the Forward Control Tower, you'll be able to free Zee and fight Dagan Gera again. However, he will manage to escape. Your next task is to return to the Mantis and travel to the Shattered Moon to track down Rayvis.

Shattered Moon Walkthrough: Locate Rayvis

The objective in the Shattered Moon level is to locate Rayvis, and with your new lift abilities, you can access previously inaccessible areas. Be cautious of the pulsating lasers in your path and time your jumps and swings to avoid them. You can also use them to your advantage by letting them destroy the droids that attack you.

To prepare for the final battle, meditate at the Republic Research Laboratory. You'll encounter another Koboh crystal puzzle where you'll need to lift an orb from behind a glass wall and move it to a slanted platform across the room using your force abilities. Then, you must catch it before it falls into the abyss, place it on the platform ahead of you, jump up to pick it up again, and place it into the coupler. Use BD-1's Koboh Grinder to open up the pathways in the area.

As you approach the center area, a cutscene between Dagan and Santari Khri will grant you the upgraded ascension cable. You can now grapple onto the floating balloons and climb to the top of the area to fight Rayvis. Rayvis is a two-phase boss who can regenerate his limbs. Save your stims for the second round because it's a tough battle. After defeating Rayvis, return to the Mantis to travel to the Koboh Observatory to confront Dagan.

Koboh Walkthrough: The Observatory

In the Koboh walkthrough of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, your task is to ascend the mountain area towards the observatory. This involves fighting or avoiding bilemaws and mogus on the way. After a while, you will come across a downed shuttle, where BD-1 gains the electro dart ability to shoot electrical sparks.

To use this ability, you need to look for glowing blue electrical charges in cylindrical casings and shoot them at designated locations to move objects. You will use this ability to make your way through the area and reach the Imperial Post facility, where you fight off waves of Stormtroopers and droids before taking the elevator up.

At the top of the mountain observatory, you encounter Rick, the Door Technician, whom you need to defeat before proceeding. You then rest at the Summit Ridge Meditation Point and use the high-altitude balloons to continue your climb through the air.

You reach the Observatory Understructure, where you need to use the BD-1 Electro Dart to unblock a mass and bring the portable high-altitude balloon outside to jump to the building on the left. You then climb further, fighting enemies along the way, and come across a propeller that you need to time several grapples to reach the next area.

After a fight against Urgost, Fist of Rayvis, you need to move a crane using the BD-1 Electro Dart to get another floating high-altitude balloon. You use this balloon to enter the Diagnostics Corridor, where you complete a mini-puzzle and climb up to the Observation Deck's Meditation Point. Here, you face Dagan Gera, the finale, in a tough battle. After defeating him, you get the compass showing the way to Tanalorr, and you return to Jedha to continue the quest.

Return to Jedha Walkthrough: Defend the archives

After returning to Jedha, everything seems to be going well for the protagonist. However, their best friend Bode unexpectedly kills Eno Cordova and steals the compass. The protagonist engages in a thrilling race against Bode, but ultimately loses.

The game then switches to playing as Cere, who must defend against an attack from the Empire using her unique force field ability. After successfully fighting off waves of enemies, Cere attempts to retrieve important items from the archive before it's destroyed by the Empire. She faces off against Darth Vader but ultimately fails to defeat him. As Bode has escaped and Cordova and Cere are gone, all hope seems lost until they discover a tracking device on Bode's ship, leading them to their next destination.

Nova Garon Walkthrough: Find Bode

As you navigate through Nova Garon in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you may want to check out the game's collectibles guide for some rewards. You'll encounter a variety of enemies, and while some of the platforming puzzles may be familiar, there are a few new ones to overcome. You can tackle your enemies slowly with ranged attacks or use your Force abilities to push them off ledges.

Keep an eye on your map as you progress through the area, and be prepared to backtrack if necessary. During a cutscene, you'll discover that Bode was actually a spy for Commander Denvick, and he was working against you the whole time. Although he denies working with Vader or destroying the Empire, you're not sure who to trust anymore.

However, you'll use Bode's outfit to pose as an IBS agent and make your way through the enemy's territory without being detected. Kata, Bode's daughter, is the only person who realizes who you are. She explains that her father only wanted the key to Tanalorr to protect her from the Empire.

Feeling betrayed by Bode, you discover a new and powerful Darkness power that you can use instead of the time-slowing ability. As you progress through Nova Garon, you'll reunite with Merrin, who is there to help you escape. With her encouragement, you spare Denvick, but your mission seems to be a failure. However, on the Mantis, you learn that there is another way to reach Tanalorr, which takes you back to Koboh.
