Starfield Access is a Key Walkthrough
In this mission for Ryujin Industries, players need to get a special keycard from Hopetown.
Ryujin Industries is a major group in Starfield that players can align with in the Settled Systems. They're based in the unique city of Neon on the planet Volii Alpha. Ryujin oversees various smaller companies and holds significant sway over the security and business aspects of the entire system. This faction is mainly driven by the desire to make a lot of credits, making it an excellent choice for players looking to gain substantial financial benefits.
After finishing the "A New Narrative" quest, where players had to infiltrate the weapons manufacturer Laredo Firearms in Akila City, Imogen will ask the player to go to a new star system. This time, the mission is to retrieve a keycard instead of planting incriminating documents.
Consider Wearing a Suit or Security Uniform
To make things easier, especially for those not skilled in sneaking, players can choose to get a suit or security uniform. They can find these from a vendor named Aito at the base of Ryujin Tower. It's not crucial, but it helps players blend in and feel like part of Ryujin Industries.
Getting to the HopeTech Facility
Players need to reach HopeTown, a factory settlement on the planet Polvo in the Valo star system. After landing, head towards the ship-building facilities at the back of the settlement. Move through the entrance and go to the end of the facility, where there's a small security office on the ground floor.
If you're wearing a suit or security uniform, you won't face any problems moving through. Nobody will ask questions.
Retrieving the Keycard
Inside the office, players will find the HopeTown security chief, who has the keycard. If you didn't wear a suit, the chief might ask you to leave. You can either try to pickpocket the keycard or, as a last resort, confront and persuade the chief to give it to you. This persuasion might be a bit tough, so having a Neuro-Amp and the right drinks or medications can be a big help.
If persuasion doesn't work, you'll have to pickpocket or, in extreme cases, eliminate the chief. Just remember, if things get violent, Imogen will reduce your pay. Once you have the card, return it to Neon and hand it over to Imogen.
Starfield Access is the Key Quest Guide
This mission begins right after the previous one, "A New Narrative," finishes.
Travel to Gagarin Landing
You need to get a security keycard from a security chief. To do this, you can either find and put on a suit or a security guard uniform, or try to pickpocket the guard. The quickest and most efficient way is to choose the pickpocketing method.
First things first, head to Gagarin Landing. This planet is in Alpha Centauri, the same system where New Atlantis is located.
Retrieve the Security Keycard
Once you land, the security chief will be right in front of us, across a small bridge. Approach him, no need to talk. Save your game, crouch behind him, and when you see that you're hidden, attempt to pickpocket the keycard. Even if your skill level is low, like lv.1, you still have a 70% chance of success. If you miss, reload and give it another try.
Return to Imogene at Ryujin Tower
After obtaining the keycard, leave the area and fast-travel back to Neon. Go talk to Imogene at the Ryujin Tower to finish this mission. It's a short and straightforward task. The next mission will kick off right away.
