Starfield

Starfield, developed and published by Bethesda Game Studios, was unveiled at Bethesda's E3 presentation in 2018. This action role-playing game is set in a space-themed environment and marks Bethesda's first new intellectual property in nearly three decades. It is slated for release on Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 6, 2023.

Critically acclaimed, Starfield garnered positive reviews for its open-ended gameplay, combat, visuals, music, and improved technical performance compared to previous Bethesda titles. However, opinions on its story and exploration aspects were more varied among critics.

Starfield Gameplay

Starfield is an action RPG set in an open-world Milky Way galaxy with over 1,000 planets, moons, and space stations to explore. Players can switch between first-person and third-person views. The game features procedurally generated landscapes with handcrafted content, terrain, and alien life based on the planet's star and atmosphere. The largest city, New Atlantis, is massive. Players can recruit NPCs who join their crew, aid in combat, and interact with other characters.

Customization options include body type, appearance, background, and traits that affect gameplay. Characters level up in five skill trees, with various weapons and attachments available. Jetpacks aid in combat and traversal. Planets can be scanned for resources, and outposts can be built for research and crafting.
