In Starfield, "Beer Run" is an optional task where you help a woman named Sarah. She wants you to spoil her brother-in-law Henry's beer so that he and her husband will focus on a more important project. You can do this by tampering with Henry's beer-making machine.
After that, you need to wait for the beer to be made and see how people react to it at a local inn. Finally, you can either report back to Sarah for a reward or tell Henry about Sarah's plan for a bigger reward. It's a mission where you can choose to help Sarah or go against her plans.
Starfield Beer Run Walkthrough and Guide
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to complete the Beer Run mission. This guide contains spoilers about the main story and side missions in Starfield.

Please note that the rewards may vary based on your player level when you complete this mission.
Step 1: Talk to Sarah Filburn To begin the mission, you can either overhear about it from an Akila City Guard or speak directly to Sarah Filburn. To talk to Sarah, start at the Akila City spaceport gate and follow these directions:
Head up the stairs to the right of The Rock's front entrance.
Take the second right in front of Cartwright Manor.
Go down a flight of stairs, then turn left.
Continue east until you reach Weston Filburn's House on your left.
Enter the house to talk to Sarah and learn about the mission.

Step 2: Sabotage the Latest Batch of Henry's Beer Your task is to tamper with Henry's beer supply. Exit Sarah's residence, go down the stairs across from her front door, and follow these directions:
Take a left and enter the Recreation Field.
Walk through the fence to your left.
Look for the Filburn Agricultural Brewing Computer on the wall near the metal silos.
Access the computer and choose one of the following options:
Increase temperature by 20°C (Successful sabotage)
Increase IBU to 160 (Successful sabotage)
Increase alcohol content (Mission failure)

Step 3: Wait One Day for the Beer to Brew After selecting one of the sabotage options, you'll need to wait 24 hours for the beer to brew. To do so, sit in any chair or lie down in any bed. After 24 hours, your mission objective will be updated.
Step 4: See the Reaction to Henry's Latest Beer Head to the Stoneroot Inn to see how people react to Henry's beer. From the Recreation Field, follow these directions:
Go up the northeastern staircase.
Walk under the overpass.
Turn left, heading north.
Turn left again, heading west.
Look for the Stoneroot Inn on your left.
Inside the inn, find Kate Foley. If you didn't choose to increase alcohol content on the Filburn computer, Kate will suggest they stop serving Henry's beer.

Step 5: Report Back to Sarah Filburn Return to Sarah's home on the southern end of Akila City and tell her that "Henry's beer has been taken care of." She will reward you for your efforts.
Optional Step: Tell Henry About Sarah's Plans Instead of sabotaging Henry's beer, you have the option to tell Henry about Sarah's plans. Here's how:
Exit the Filburn residence and turn right to head west.
Pass Filburn Agricultural Systems and enter Henry Filburn's House.
Tell Henry about Sarah's plot. Henry will reward you with at least 300 more Credits than Sarah, and the mission will end immediately.
