Starfield Video Game

Starfield is a new video game made by Bethesda Game Studios. It was first talked about in 2018. The game happens in space and is the first new idea from Bethesda in a very long time. It came out on September 6, 2023, for Windows computers and Xbox Series X/S. Critics who review games mostly liked Starfield. They liked the big world you can explore, the space setting, and the music.

Prior to the official launch of the game on September 6, PureDark, a modder, released a free mod to incorporate DLSS 2 into Starfield. PureDark also introduced another mod, DLSS 3 with frame generation, but this one wasn't free, and it came with DRM protection, which caused some controversy in the gaming community. Shortly after its release, the DRM for the DLSS 3 mod was successfully bypassed.

Starfield Entangled Walkthrough

The "Entangled" quest in Starfield is quite complex, as it involves two different realities within the game. It's considered one of the more eerie and horror-themed main quests in Starfield. In this quest, players explore a destroyed lab in an alternative universe filled with creepy enemies, which can give you goosebumps.

Although it's labeled as the 17th main quest, "Entangled" is actually the final step of the "Final Glimpses" quest in Starfield. Players receive a distress signal on Hyetta III, leading them to investigate it, and the quest "Entangled" reveals the answers to the mysteries uncovered during this investigation.

Landing on the Nishina Research Station

Starfield Entangled Walkthrough and Choices

In Starfield, when you land on Hyetta III near the Nishina Research Station, go up the stairs and use the intercom to gain access. Ethan Hughes, the Chief of Security, will welcome you and lead you to the Director. Inside the Storage Room, something strange happens, and players are transported to mysterious ruins infested with Cataxi enemies. After returning from this odd experience, talk to Ethan, who insists on meeting the Director.

However, you'll be sent back to the ruins once more, and this time, you won't be alone. Speak with Rafael, the one who sent the distress signal and caused the accident. Unfortunately, your conversation with Rafael will be cut short as you return to Ethan, who will reveal the Director's office location.

Find The Director’s Office In Starfield

In Starfield, once you leave the hallway and return to the ruins, head left to find some loot and healing items. After that, go back, take the right route, and climb the stairs to reach the Director's office. But before you can enter, you'll be thrown back into the Research Station once more, where you'll meet Maria and Director Patel to discuss the situation.

Next, follow Maria to the Fabrication Lab, but once again, you'll find yourself in the ruins. Turn around, head right, and then go left through the Emergency Door. Follow the quest marker in Starfield to reunite with Rafael, who will offer you the Nishina Pantry Keycard.

Starfield Entangled Get To The Lab

Starfield Entangled Walkthrough and Choices

In Starfield's "Entangled" quest, you need to start by unlocking the Pantry using the key, which will transport you into the Station. Then, make your way back to the Main Hall to return to the Ruins. Defeat the Cataxi enemies and speak with Rafael again to learn how to obtain the Artifact. Proceed towards the destroyed office, where you'll warp back and encounter Ethan. Ask him how to reach the Fabrication Lab and mention the enemies by choosing the Scorpions option.

If you can persuade Ethan, he'll reward you with a Rare Shotgun called Experiment A-7, which deals 30% increased damage against Aliens. Leave the office and head to the Main Hall to transport back into the Ruins. Eliminate all enemies, enter through the left door, and continue until you see an Emergency Door. Climb the stairs to be transported back into the Station, right next to the Fabrication Lab.

After completing a small experiment with Maria, you'll acquire a Probe Control Unit. Now, you can shift in and out of the Ruins at will by using the various Distortions scattered around the Station. Finally, return to the Director, who reveals that an important decision must be made. You don't have to decide immediately, as your actions in the final step will determine the answer.

Override the Lockdown

Lockdown In The Facilities Section

You start by arriving at the Ruins. Take the elevator down and interact with the Distortion to return. Follow the Quest marker until you come across a locked white door. Head back to the Ruins using the nearby Distortion and enter to obtain the Nishina Practice Lab Keycard. Continue following the marker and use the available Distortions as needed until you reach a deeper part of the Station.

Descend the slopes and deal with the Robots and Turrets, then use the Distortion located in the only open room. Since the broken computer in the Ruins is of no use, return to the normal Station. Use the computer there to Override the Lockdown in the Facilities Section. This will allow you to progress in the quest.

Lockdown In The Accelerator Section

To override the lockdown in the Accelerator Section in Starfield, continue following the Quest marker through the Particle Accelerator corridor. You'll need to use two Distortions to reach your destination. One allows you to enter through the Emergency door from the Ruins, while the other helps you descend the stairs in the Station. Be prepared with some Ammo as the next room is filled with Robots and Turrets.

After dealing with the enemies or evading them, climb the stairs and head for the platform in the middle to use the Distortion. Go through the Emergency Door and jump down to retrieve the Nishina Utility Closet Keycard. Return to the Station, climb the stairs, and use another Distortion to travel to the Ruins.

Follow the marker, and instead of using the Distortion near the railing, opt for the one across. Once you're back at the Station, head downstairs and use the key to open the Utility Closet. Travel to the Ruins using the Distortion inside, then return to the Station using another one to access the Computer.

Unlock the security system of the Accelerator Control Room and finally, head back up to the previously locked Emergency Door to override the lockdown in the Accelerator Section. This will allow you to progress in the quest.

Lockdown In The Storage Section

To override the lockdown in the Storage Section in Starfield, follow these steps:

  • From the Accelerator Section, head to the Quest marker to enter Tunnel Access and use the Distortion inside.
  • Go inside the cave and climb the slope at the end. Warp back to the Station and head left to use the Distortion at the end of the room.
  • Proceed forward past the Cataxi enemies and climb another slope.
  • Follow the Quest marker to the Distortion that allows players to use the computer inside the Storage Section to override the lockdown.
  • Next, follow the marker and travel to the Ruins upon seeing a staircase. Climb up and go through two Emergency Doors to reach the final area. Here, players must make a decision before proceeding. Your choices will impact the outcome of the quest.

Starfield Entangled Choice

When faced with the choice, players must make a careful decision between disengaging power interlocks or switching universes. Your choice here will determine which universe you save and ultimately leads to different endings in the game. So, choose wisely, as it impacts the outcome of the quest.
