Starfield Flight Simulator

Starfield Flight Simulator is like a space ride. To make things easier in the game, you can use Debug Tools in Simulation Controls to cheat and get permanent upgrades. However, keep in mind that hacking into the computer terminal to access these tools requires you to have a Security skill rank of at least 2.

When it comes to improving your combat skills within the simulator, having a minimum Piloting skill rank of 2 is necessary. This means you'll need to train and gain experience in piloting to become more effective in combat scenarios. So, don't forget to invest time and effort into boosting your skills to enjoy a better gaming experience.

Starfield Flight Simulator Location

The Starfield Flight Simulator is located in the Vanguard Pilot Simulator area. It's all about pretending to be an astronaut and going on space missions. You get to experience what space is like with cool technology that makes it feel real.

You can pick different missions, like flying to planets or catching fast asteroids. It's not just fun; you can also learn about space while having a good time. Plus, it's suitable for families, so everyone can join in the adventure. When you're done with your space journey, you can visit the souvenir shop in the Vanguard Pilot Simulator area. They have lots of space-themed stuff you can buy to remember your trip.

How to Complete the Flight Simulator in Starfield?

Enter the Simulation:

  • It's located in the Vanguard Pilot Simulator area.
  • The final floor in the MAST building – you can take the elevator to reach it.

Get into the Pilot’s Seat:

  • Just before the pilot’s seat, you’ll notice a Simulation Controls terminal.
  • You’ll see the message “debug tools are only available once targets are active” when interacting with it – something to note for later.

Complete Tiers 1-3 of the Simulation:

  • Tier 1: Face one level 32 ship – use lasers to remove its shields and ballistic weapons to destroy it.
  • Tier 2: Face two level 20 ships – focus on taking them down one at a time.
  • Tier 3: Face two level 38 ships – destroy the one closest to you as quickly as possible.

Get out of the Pilot Seat and interact with the Simulation Controls terminal:

  • You have three debug options to choose from: Shield Upgrade, Damage Upgrade, and Generate Ally.

Hack the Advanced Lock for Authorized Access:

  • Make sure your Security skill is at least Rank 2 so you can hack Advanced locks.
  • Enable “Infinite Upgrades” and “Debug Ally.”
  • “Infinite Upgrades” allow all debug options to persist and carry over between completed tiers.
  • “Debug Ally” gives you an additional powerful level 62 allyship, which can deal massive damage and draw fire away from you.

Complete Tiers 4-6 of the simulation:

  • Tier 4: Face one level 44 ship – with the debug tools and additional allies, taking it down should be manageable.
  • Tier 5: Face four level 40+ ships – it's a challenge, so use asteroids for cover and stick close to your allies.
  • Tier 6: Face five ships of varying difficulty – this tier is extremely hard; consider upgrading your Piloting and Targeting Control Systems skills.
