Starfield Last Will and Testament Quest Guide
In Starfield, the "Last Will and Testament" is a side mission you can choose to do in Akila City. It's optional, but it can be very rewarding, especially if you're okay with bending the truth a bit.
Location:
The quest takes place in the game's world, specifically in Akila City on the planet Akila.
Meeting Mayor Cartwright:
You meet Mayor Elias Cartwright in Akila City, who talks about the Core district's history. He also mentions a feud with Frank Langston and asks for your help.
Sahar Farm:
Mayor Cartwright asks you to visit the old Sahar Farm to find a will left by Sahar. The farm is on the same planet, but you should be prepared for danger from Ashta.
Finding the Will:
At the farm, you'll face an Ashta, but it's not too hard to defeat. To enter the farm, go through the airlocked doors on the right side of the fence. Inside, you'll find the will inside a yellow and gray chest.
Returning to Akila City:
Your quest updates to return the will to Mayor Cartwright or speak to Frank about it. You can fast-travel back to Akila City.
Speaking with Frank:
Frank Langston is in Langston Manor, and you can find him in the kitchen on the lower floor. You can choose to confront him about the estate he purchased and his attitude towards the locals.
Choice:
You have a choice to give the will to Frank or Mayor Cartwright. If you give it to Frank, he offers 10,000 credits, while the mayor offers 2,500 credits and 100 xp.
Decision:
The decision of whom to give the will to is yours. If you choose Frank, he can continue tormenting the locals. If you choose Mayor Cartwright, Frank might be forced out of the property.
Quest End:
The quest ends once you give the will to either party, and you receive your chosen reward.
Moral Choice:
You must decide if you value credits or morality more, as the rewards differ between Frank and the mayor.

Starfield Last Will and Testament Quest Rewards
In the Last Will and Testament quest in Starfield, your mission rewards can take two different paths. If you choose to give Mayor Cartwright Sahar's Will without consulting with Frank Langston, or if you reject his offer, you'll receive a minimum of 2,500 Credits and a substantial 100+ XP.
However, the rewards may be even more enticing if you decide to accept Frank's deal. By doing so, you'll be compelled to tell a little white lie to the mayor, claiming you couldn't find Sahar's Will. In return, you'll receive a generous 10,000 Credits from Frank, plus at least 5,000 Credits and 50 XP from Mayor Cartwright. This option results in sacrificing 50 XP but gaining an extra 12,500 Credits, making it a strategic choice for those seeking a wealthier path in the game.
