Starfield promises an exciting new addition to the gaming landscape, combining Bethesda's renowned RPG expertise with a futuristic space setting to create a captivating gaming experience.

Starfield: The Audition Walkthrough and Guide

Bethesda's Starfield boasts an abundance of quests, surpassing any of its predecessors, and is brimming with intricate lore and content spanning its extensive one-hundred-star systems. Among the bustling and memorable locales where players will invest a substantial amount of their time is the cyberpunk-inspired Neon City on the planet Volii Alpha.

This vibrant metropolis is a hub for numerous corporate entities, thriving due to its lenient trade regulations. It stands as the sole place in the Settled Systems where individuals can legally partake in Aurora, a psychedelic hallucinogen derived from the Chasmbass fish indigenous to the planet's vast waters.

A notable mission within the game, titled 'The Audition,' provides players with an immersive glimpse into the daily life of a Neon City resident, ultimately leading them into the midst of a gang war. The quest commences as a chance encounter with a man named Digger Zemin upon entering Ebbside, near the entrance to Madame Sauvage's establishment (located directly behind the Starport elevator structure on Neon's primary boulevard). Digger Zemin elucidates the ongoing feud between two rival factions, The Strikers and The Disciples, detailing the turmoil it has wrought upon Ebbside and emphasizing the dire reputation of The Disciples.

After conversing with Digger, he may request compensation for the information, but paying him is not obligatory. Subsequently, players are directed to rendezvous with the Ebbside Strikers inside Madame Sauvage's venue, one of Neon's prominent nightclubs. Upon entering, players will encounter a character named Andrea Sandoval, one of the gang's lieutenants.

Engaging in dialogue with Andrea offers players the opportunity to persuade her to grant them membership in the gang, although she defers the final decision to the gang's leader, Briggs. Accompanying Andrea upstairs, players will meet Briggs, the gang's leader. If players express their desire to join the Strikers (with the Neon Street Rat perk being particularly advantageous), Briggs will assign them the task of pilfering a data slate from The Disciples' hideout in Warehouse 02, located on the opposite side of Ebbside.

To swiftly reach the warehouse, players can return to Bayu Plaza, traverse it, and then take the elevator down to the Ebbside area on the opposite side of the boulevard. Alternatively, they can remain on the Ebbside level to locate the warehouse. Once inside, players can either adopt a stealthy approach or eliminate all opposition in their path. While Briggs prefers a stealthy method, players can still gain entry into the Strikers by eliminating everyone.

For those who opt for stealth, moving at a walking pace is advisable, and players equipped with the 'Sense Star Stuff' ability can use it to track the positions of their adversaries. There are a total of three enemies, all relatively easy to evade and remain undetected. Players must then retrieve the Disciple's Slate from a small storage container within the warehouse, which also contains 860 credits and an Advanced Modified Magshot pistol.

Upon successfully completing this task, players can return to Briggs, receiving a reward of 5500 credits and the Strikers Maskwear apparel before advancing to the subsequent faction mission, 'Display of Power.

Starfield Gameplay

In Starfield, players will immerse themselves in an expansive action role-playing experience set in an open-world environment within the Milky Way galaxy. The game offers a seamless transition between first-person and third-person perspectives, allowing players to choose their preferred viewpoint at any time. With a vast universe at their disposal, players can explore over 1,000 planets, numerous moons, and space stations, both fictional and inspired by real-life celestial bodies.

The game's landscapes are primarily procedurally generated, with handcrafted content enhancing the planetary experiences. Players will encounter diverse non-playable characters (NPCs) during their journey, some of whom may become part of the player's crew, aiding in various ways such as combat support, item carrying, and dialogue interactions.

These NPCs may offer insights and comments based on the player's choices, adding depth to the game's narrative. Additionally, some NPCs are available for romantic relationships, enriching the player's social interactions.

Starfield Settings

Starfield is set in the Settled Systems, an area extending about 50 light-years beyond the Solar System. The game's backdrop includes a significant event known as the Colony War, involving the United Colonies and Freestar Collective around 2310.

Twenty years after this conflict, the game's story unfolds, with the major factions existing in a tense post-war peace. Players step into the shoes of a customizable character, part of Constellation, a group of space explorers, as they navigate this intriguing science fiction universe.
