With Luthor's guidance, the Squad defeats Superman using Gold Kryptonite. However, Brainiac captures them, but they are saved by Luthor-2. Learning of multiple Brainiacs across universes, the Squad, with Waller and Luthor-2, confronts and captures Brainiac, preventing his multiverse invasion. The Squad now gears up to hunt down the remaining Brainiacs.
