It's a spin-off from the Batman: Arkham series and comes after Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). The game is about the Suicide Squad, a group of bad guys like Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. They get a mission from Amanda Waller to stop an alien named Brainiac in Metropolis and rescue the Justice League members brainwashed by him. You can explore the big city freely, either on your own or with friends.
They first told us about Kill the Justice League in August 2020, but it got delayed a few times. Now, it's supposed to come out on February 2, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Plot
In "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League," Amanda Waller releases Deadshot, Boomerang, Harley Quinn, and King Shark from Arkham Asylum, forcing them to join her Suicide Squad with head bombs. Tasked with stopping Brainiac's attack on Metropolis, they face brainwashed Green Lantern and a captured Flash. Seeking Justice League help, they find only Wonder Woman, who refuses Waller's plan.
Waller commands the Squad to gather weapons, recruit villains, and confront Lex Luthor for insights. Flash's betrayal complicates their plans, and Wonder Woman learns Brainiac's world-threatening agenda. Transported to Earth-2, a devastated alternate reality, they return with vital resources. Confronting Brainiac, they disable defenses but face Superman's interference.
Luthor-2 proposes Gold Kryptonite to defeat Superman, leading to a temporary victory. However, Brainiac captures the Squad, revealing a multiversal threat. Rescued by Luthor-2, they confront and capture Brainiac, preventing a multiverse invasion. The Squad, now aware of other Brainiacs, prepares to journey across the multiverse to eliminate the remaining threats.
